It is ok. It doesn't hurt the fuzziness. They tell me when they hate the brushes. Doesn't pick up hairs great tho

I had used this brush for my sweatpea and he would sit still while I brushed him...not his habit to do so! He got sick last year and after many attempts to help him, we had to let him go. Sentimental me has kept his brush by his box. So now we have rescued another ferret and I'm going to get her one of these as well. She's already a cuddle-butt so I'm sure she will love it too!! It is nice and soft for them and it cleans very easily, like a regular hair brush.

This brush does a wonderful job picking up the loose fur from your fuzzy. I was using a cat brush before and it made it worse because the cat brush wasn't picking up the loose hair with this brush your fuzzy will feel better, have a shiner coat, and not so many hair balls. I use the brush daily and lucifers coat is shiny as a new penny. This product works wonders

I got this brush to use on my two ferrets Ares and Pandora. They love it and so do I. The only thing I really do not like about it is the bristles. I do not see how it gets down to their skin to turkey groom them. I do not find the bristles too harsh. If they were any rougher then I would NOT use it on my fuzzies… I would NEVER let my fuzzies play with their brush that is just no safe. They could eat a piece of it and it could get lodged and off to the vets you go if you are lucky enough to catch it in time… My fuzzies look forward to being brushed I love it and they do to!!!

I like the brush due to its durability my fuzzes can chew on it and hide it and it holds up, which is pretty much what they do with it, since I even think the bristles feel hard on my hand let alone on my soft little fuzzes. They hate it when it comes in contact with their coats.

This is a great heavy duty brush that can tolerate some chewing, which is exactly what my furr kids did to it after trying to hide it, it seems as if the bristles are a little hard for them and they did not seem to enjoy it at all.
