My particular ferret has always struggled with her sinuses. In fact, this has saved me a lot of trips to the vet. I shy away from applying this directly on her fur or skin so I sprinkle it on her bedding (just a few drops) or I'll squeeze a bit into a damp towel and microwave it a bit. Then I'll leave the towel/rag in the room over night while she sleeps. When she wakes up in the morning, no hint of a cold or a sneeze!

This product helps significantly calm respitory problems. I put a drop in the litter box regularly to help breathing and odor problems. Whenever one of my rats is having noisy breathing or persistent sneezing, a 1/8 of a drop slightly above the nose does wonders helping them sleep and recover. It's a small bottle but a little goes a long way.

One of my babies has kind of an over bite and has always had difficulties with her breathing, but if she's got a runny nose it's scary. I put a drop on the finger and just touch her nose. She clears right up and than I can get some sleep knowing she's sleeping sound.

I bought this a while back and now stock up since the time ferret.com was out and I was in urgent need of this and had to pay extra to expedite from another site...
I use this when my ferrets seems to have problems with congestion and seem to be coughing or wheezing. I have been using it a lot lately with an adopted ferret who came with mild wheezing and occasional coughing attacks...the rescue place assumed it was because she was stuck in a cage for 4 years and lived with a hoarder so the dust, dirt, etc.
At any rate, I don't always heat this up and tend to dab it on the outside of my ferret's noses with a Q-tip...I also have been sprinkling it liberally around their sleeping area, esp. since my one ferret has been having more issues with labored breathing in the cooler weather...
It seems to help because of the menthol in it and I don't see anything else available on the market. I would recommend keeping a bottle on hand for those little colds and stuff...

This stuff is wonderful. One of my babies was having trouble breathing. Must of had a cold and after one use of this stuff she was fine. It says you can use a vaporizer or put it on their nose or toys. I used a vaporizer and put it next to their cage and it worked fine.

I dropped a couple of drops on each nostril like the instructions said. I ferret is better, the other 2 sound much worse. Maybe I used too much and it got inside their noses, but we'll see. Maybe the vaporizer is the key.

I have two ferrets who sniffle and cough when the seasons change. I sprinkled a few drops of Marshall's Ferret Rx on their bedding area and they seemed not only to breathe more easily (no coughing or sneezing), but they seemed to have more energy for a longer period of time as well. I believe this product is well worth it and can also work for congested/sick ferrets.

I am very concerned about my ferrets health, respiratory problems can be very serious with ferrets because of their small lung and airway sizes. Any time my ferret has a sniffly and sneezy day, I just put a drop under her nose and she sounds so much better.

Our middle child, Fern, has been having some congestion and sniffles for a couple of weeks. I ordered this and at first tried putting it under her nose. That didnt go over very well with her, though. hahaha So the next day I tried putting some in a vaporizer and its worked like a dream! Shes sounding ssooo much better and the other two ferrets seem to be sneezing, etc. a lot less, too. My only issue w it is that the directions call for an entire ounce at a time in the vaporizer and the bottle only holds two ounces total. Overall, though, I am very happy with the results. Ill be ordering more very soon!

When my ferret get sniffly and snorty and just sounds like he's having a little trouble with his sinuses i put a little of this on my finger and rub it on his nose. So far it always solves the problem, sometimes he needs it more than once a day. It really does work, you can also put a few drops on the ferret's bedding. It's kind of like the ferret version of vick's vapor rub or a vaporizer.
