If purchasing the ball pit, buying an extra bag (or two) of the balls is pretty much a must in order to fill it to a decent level. One of our three ferrets likes to bite into the plastic balls, but the other two do not destroy them. A quick soak in a soapy tub of water makes for an easy clean up of the balls.

My ferrets, young and old, both love chasing the balls around and stashing them in all sorts of places.
The only Con is that I have a ferret who loves and destroys anything that's made of plastic. I had to throw out the previous set of plastic balls because there were so many teeth holes in them, they became warped.
In a matter of no time, he's already left plenty of teeth marks in the new plastic balls. While it's cute to see him carry the balls off and stash them, I think the next time I buy him balls, I will stick to the hard plastic jingle balls (which are way more durable) or the soft felt balls.

So I bought these balls for my fur baby and she learned that she could pick up the balls with her teeth and then carry them away so she could stash them. The more and more she did that, the balls started to lose their shape and became torn.

Positive amount of refill for the price- was able to throw out some of the more worn balls and easily replace them.

the plastic balls are fun and colourful and our ferrets like digging in them but oce our male ferret realized he could get his teeth in them one and crush it ... he had more fun biting adn chewing on the balls. we had to take them away from our ferrets

So I have a bunch of these plastic balls inside the Pop-N-Play and I was hoping to give my ferret the same experience kids get during birthday parties, or at their local McDonald's. Well, she could care less about the Pop-N-Play.
HOWEVER, she goes bonkers when I roll them along the carpet and she sees a bunch of them zoom by her. She'll chase them for minutes on end as I empty out the Pop-N-Play and roll them everywhere.
So once again, the product is properly designed and great initial quality and a fair price. Sadly, my ferret exceeds the usage specifications of this product, ha ha.

My ferrets were NOT as excited to jump into the basket of balls as I would hope they would be. However, they DO like putting them in the attached tunnel and pushing them with their noses. We only have had this product for a week, so I cannot make an honest evaluation on durability, but so far so good. I would recommend this product. However, like so many customers before me, HIGHLY RECOMMEND increasing the amount in each package by 4-5 or so.

my little fuzzy friends love these!
I got them the ball pit as well and they could play all day.
you don't need the ball pit, any mesh basket will due.
they are a little thin like the ball pits for kids so watch out. once you step on them that's it. and some little fuzzy like to chew them up.
I throw them away once they are squished or have holes in them but buying 3-4 bags means I always have more on hand!

my coworker bought the pop n play ball pit and during an order I was making she asked if I could buy her some bags of these for her ferret so I did. She tells me the ferret enjoys them in the ball pit. They are very bright and colorful, and the price here is better than at the store!

Bought the pop n play, tunnel and a set of extra balls. My little girl loves the pop n play and tunnel but each one of the balls that she played with collapsed with the first use. I trashed all of them worried that she might she might choke on the little pieces. I brought hard plastic ones and am not worried when she sneaks them to her hiding places

The balls are fine, although a little bit pricey. My one complaint is the plastic is pretty thin and a determined ferret can bite through it. I consider that a design flaw, although I wouldn't look at it as a major problem.
