Great dish!, 3/30/2010
Crissy from Lewiston, Id

I have 2 ferrets, and they love to play in the water. I had a water bottle that leaked everywhere. I bought the smaller of the two, and it's perfect for my 2 babies. I change their water twice a day, but it will last my two babies twenty four hours if it has to. By the end of the 24 hour period, the dish is down to the last little bit, but never empty. I have been using this dish for about 4 months now, and although they do still play in the water, I never have a mess. Also, they drink twice as much water out of this dish then they did when the water was in a bottle. A lot of times they would push the water bottle out of the cage and I would find it on the floor. I'm buying a second dish to put on another level of their cage.

Love These...., 10/7/2009
Amber Grant from Olathe, KS

Out of my 3 fuzzies, the one that digs drove me nuts until I bought these. I got the smaller size for the food and the bigger for their water. He still tries to dig the food out but he'll only get out a couple pieces. He's chewed the edges like crazy, but I'll take that over having their food scattered all over the cage any day!

Perfect for my Fuzzy!, 10/23/2008
Beth from Central VA

My ferret would dig thru every other bowl I bought, but not this one! I got the smaller size, and it's big enough to hold about 2 days of food, yet small enough that he can't quite get in it to dig. The turned in edges keep about 95% of the food inside the bowl. Finally, the dogs aren't waiting at the bottom of the cage to catch food on the fly!

Not Bad, 4/15/2008
Dawn from Lancaster,OH

I have bought several of these bowls. I have had them for about a month now. They help to litter train by putting them in all but 2 corners. My ferets have learned how to take the lids off! They still dig but not as bad. They love to wash there faces in the bowls. Overall I am happy with these bowls. I think the little angels will always find a way to dig there food out. lol

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, 4/2/2008
TJ Tropea from Severn, Maryland

I want to change my review. I got the 24oz cups. 6 of them. A total waste of money. It did NOT stop any of my ferrets from digging... Well, it did for 1 day, and that was about it. This lip that keeps the food from coming out actuallay detaches from the rest of the cup. It did not take the ferrets long to figure out they can remove it. It does NOT attach to a Ferret Nation cage. This was a total waste of money.

NOT BAD, 3/20/2008
TJ Tropea from Severn, Maryland

I have tried so many different food bowls it's outragous. I bought 6, that's right, 6 of the 24oz cups. I will say, it did NOT stop their digging. Within 2 minutes of putting the cups in, my ferrets and dug out the entire food contents onto the cage floor. I did some modifications to the cups. THIS CUP WILL NOT CLIP ONTO A FERRET NATION. I drilled a hole in the center of the back of the cup. Placed a screw and the backing of my previous food dishes on the back and then screwed it to the cage. I will say after the first day of digging, I have yet to have another incident of digging. But then again, this is only the second day. I will say, I do like these for food. I only have 2 cups in the cage at the moment. They are bigger than they look in the picture. I gave this a high rating because I like them and because I am hoping that the digging has stopped because today was the first time they didn't dig. TJ

Great! Just don't fill too far., 2/11/2008
Robyn from Yorkville, IL

Works great. Only a little bit of the food can get out. I just need to remember not to fill them past 3/4 full. The 10.5 ounce size is good for one ferret. Used two of them to help fill up corners to aid in litter training. The wires on my cage allows this bowl to be elevated off the floor so the ferrets can't dig out a lot of food on to the floor. They come apart for easy cleaning.

Awesome!, 2/4/2008
Michelle from Atlanta, GA

I just got these looking for an easy solution for my water/food problem. My ferrets always dig up the food and absolutely hate drinking out of the water bottle. The little lip on these containers prevents them from digging it up and spilling it all over the place, and the sturdy little hanger-things provides my ferrets with a great water bowl/face wash fountain. Excellent product, I will recommend! However, I don't know how well it will work on the Ferret Nation cage, as their verticle bars are spaced out a lot more than the one I have. We'll see when I get one.

These bowls have completely stopped my ferrets from digging. I have saved a ton of money on food since getting these. I recommend these to anyone with a digger.
