Product SummaryWrite a Review
Super Pet's Hi Bac Litter Pan is the perfect pan for ferrets. Featuring a ferret friendly low entry, the high back panel prevents messes and litter from scattering outside the cage.
Constructed of easy to clean, stain and odor resistant plastic, it fits in large cages and can also be used outside the cage for ferrets that are liberty trained.
This product comes in assorted colors.

This litter box is great. I use it in cages and out for kittens. It is heavy and front is low enough for kittens to get in. I have even used it with a towel as a bed.
Label came off easily with one of the label removers that causes no damage.

I have had trouble getting my two ferrets to share a box, and two corner boxes did not work!! They would end up going inbetween them...it was a mess! This one covers both corners and my ferrets use it 100% of the time.

I was surprised by the size, was larger than I imagined. The box isn't flimsy;really heavy duty. I was put off by reviews about the sticker not coming off, although I had no problem. If you peel up the edge so that you can get a grip and go very slowly the whole sticker will come off with ease. I love this website. Great products, unbeatable prices.

I've gone through several types of litter pans and most suffer from one of several annoyances. If it is a low-side litter pan, then mess end up outside of the pan and sometimes outside of the cage. If it is a corner litter pan, it is hard to clean when/if the ferret actually use it. Covered litter pans and commendered totes end up as playboxes that are never used.
Hi-bac litter pans solve those problems. The high back catches any messes that would go over the edge of a normal litter pan. There's enough room for the ferrets to get all four feet in the litter pan (important for the ferrets to recognize it as a litter pan). It's also very easy to clean in even a busy cage because of the slanted sides. My oldest ferret also appreciates the slanted sides and low front. There's also the added bonus (beyond the slanted sides) of it not being made by Marshalls since some ferret owners prefer not to support Marshalls.
The only real negative is that the sticker doesn't come off easily unless you use nail polish remover. The best thing to do is leave the label on and not mess with it. the label has a glossy finish, so it is actually pretty easy to wipe clean and doesn't absorb much.
