I've had this cage for several years now and it is holding up great. It was the perfect home for 5 ferrets and accomodated a lot of moving things around and customization. The high sides on the base made it perfect for using the bottom as a litter level without letting the kids knock litter out of the cage. I did have to replace the plastic clips with zip ties and I made a few more doors and added tubes. All in all, very good cage. I recommend it highly.

i purchased this cage for my ferret about 6 months ago. she loves it and i do to. ive read it is hard to clean but i have had no problem. i use a shop vac and then wipe it down and she as happy as she can be. i actually took my old cage and added one layer to it so now it almost hits the cieling. i am very happy i bought it and i might get another ferret to go w/ bullet

if your ferrets miss the box often, this is not the cage for you. Litter gets jammed between the lower bars and cakes on easily. the plastic bottom STINKS horribly even after you give it a thorough scrubbing. It's hard to put together, the plastic clips break off so easily. When you actually start to put it together you realize its really two seperate huge pieces. If you like taking apart your cages to fully clean them, then this is not the cage for you! Beware of the side doors. They're especially hard to open and when you do open them, try tucking them under to lock them! I broke off half of my nail(the nail connected to the flesh, I keep mine short and this still happened). If you do manage to loosen the doors, beware. they may then be so loose that your ferrets can figure out how to escape! I can't tell you how many times I opened the door to find my ferrets running around my room unsupervised. Taking out the plastic flooring on each level is difficult--if there's food caked in the level, the "no spill" crack things turn out to be more of a burden than a blessing. The plastic is cheap and warps after time and a number of cleanings.
The only good thing about this cage is that it is incredibly huge for it's price and the wheels make it convenient, but I'm not sure if its worth all the hassle. Buy a better cage, like the ferret nation cage. Its a better investment for your time and money. My ferrets enjoyed the space of this cage, but the problems that came with it were horridly stressful for me, making me wish i had just spent a little more for a better buy. I was stuck with this cage for two years, and it was horrriblleeeee. If you can afford to replace levels, ramps and the clips multiple times then go ahead and jump into this purchase. Because the ramps break just as easy. I just hope you dont have to move to another location after you have set up this mess.

First of all, the cage is HUGE! It says 67" tall with the stand, but I believe it is bigger than that! I am 5'7" and it towers above me! My little fuzzy absolutely loves it! I highly reccomend it to anyone with a fuzzy pet in need of a big home at a reasonable price. The only thing that worried me is the plastic clips that hold the panels together...I have yet to be proven wrong lol. That was the only problem that I had if it even becomes a problem.

I love this cage. I have 2 Ferrets and they love the room. At first i found cleaning the litter pan horrible but now that i have found a small plastic container (dollar tree 1$) that fits thru the door i just put it thru and scoop and slide it back out. and just put the bag of litter inside and dump it (8lb bag) or you could use the plastic container with fresh litter and slide thru the door. I have had problems with the clips breaking and am going to order new ones on the i-net.
