I bought this water bottle for my two Degus, Kuma and Yuna. Not great.
The price was good for the size (Best looking quality in the store for lowest price) but the moment I got it home it was trouble.
The Degu's could get to the wire hooks that held it in place on the outside of the cage (after I spent 10 minutes trying to get the darn wire hook hanging system out of the bottle, where it came from) and chew on them, so eventually all the white coating came off.
The ball dripped water constantly and when filled with water it was quite heavy and actaully bowed the side of the cage it was on. The sipper tube on the bottom was very large in diameter and had trouble getting through the bars of the cage and to top it all off, the water would not come out of the tube if it was less than half full.
Overall, I guess I got what I paid for. Not a great propduct.

I got this water bottle in a my first home kit for my new ferret and it is HORRIBLE! The water hardly comes out as if the spring that works the ball is too tight or something but the only way my ferret can get any water out of it is if I squeeze on the bottle while he is trying to drink out of it. I am still in search of a good water bottle as Kolbie is always make a mess with a water bowl, he would rather play in the water than to drink it when it is in a bowl. I do not recommend this water bottle to anyone and I have read over and over again the directions on how to use it just to verify that I have done nothing incorrectly.

This water bottle is durable, attractive, and easy to use. It only has one downfall: it's hard to clean.
