Rated 4 out of 5 by Three story carpeted condo We did not purchase this as much for playing as we did for a utilitarian purpose. The Ferret Nation cage is rather high up off the ground, and we like to leave our little guys out to play sometimes, even when we aren't in the room. This renders them unable to get in and out of the cage for food and water. The carpeted three story "condo" works very well for our purposes. We set it just outside the cage when we leave the door open, and all 4 of our ferrets easily climb up and down it, either inside with the holes and the levels, or outside and just climb the carpet. The only thing I don't like, and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the entire inside is not carpeted. It is hard wood, and the potential for splinters if they are playing in it worries me. Rated 5 out of 5 by they still love it We've had this tower for almost a year now and it's one of the only things my fluffs consistently still play with/on/in. This and shoes.... mostly shoes. July 19, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by It has one flaw Over all my fuzzies love it. One loves it more than the other because he's smaller and so can move around in it more quickly. The flaw is that the holes inside, going from top to bottom are lined up one above another instead of slightly skewed. The reason this is a flaw is that it is difficult (and probably hard on the nose) for a ferret to grab onto the sides to stop from falling straight to the bottom. They learn to grab the edges, but it is dangerous for them. They still love to play in it though. It's like a den. May 2, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent in almost every way! This little piece of furniture was a great piece of addition to our room (the fuzzies and myself) Now the general design is appealing, and the colour is low so it doesn't become an eye sore just as promised. My larger male ferret loves it, he jumps up on it and uses it to get onto my couch. However my female ferret is smaller and though she enjoys becomes very frightened when she is at the top and has trouble getting herself down. The Quality of this is almost amazing, but as I put my hand in I got myself a couple splinter and took it upon myself to sand some of the edges and then to vacuum out the inside. Other than that, any nails are well hidden and it has proven to be structurally sound. Finally the price. Now living in Canada the shipping got to me. I bought it and then shortly after found it in a pet retail store by my house for 4 dollars more where I had spent around 30 dollars extra on shipping. I don't blame ferrets.com I blame myself for not doing the research. If you have low shipping then your price is good, if you live in Canada, take a look around first before you buy. Rated 4 out of 5 by peek a boo fun Omonom found this tower on a trip to the pet store, climbed in it, and started to get wound up, so of course it came home with us. My ferts love tearing this thing to shreds, and beating each other up inside. Sushi likes to go in and defend the fort, and Omnom likes to grapple up the side, and attack from the top hole. I attach their tube to the front so they have to chase each other and end up in the tower. Sushi hangs around in there, scratching the carpet up, and when she senses someone nearby she shoots her head out to keep predators away! The only annoying thing is that there's carpet bits around the floor on a regular basis. November 21, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Buddy LOVES this toy. I use this toy as a means for Buddy to climb up onto my bed and for this use it is AWESOME. Buddy also LOVES to play in it. He used to scratch our carpet all the time and this toy has hindered that habit a little bit. He loves poking his head out of all the little holes and jumping through each one like a little gymnast. I would buy this again if I ever had to. Only two problems I have are that the carpet is ripped up fairly easily and mine has a funky animal smell that will not go away no matter how much febreeze I put on it. My ferret actually doesn't smell much because of the bi-odor he gets but this thing still has a stench. April 30, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Buy My ferrets love it! Been a month now and they still play in it. Plus it cuts down on digging at the carpet. January 27, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Carpet My ferrets love it. I use it as a ladder in and out of their cage. They'll also sleep in the bottom level. It's hard to clean the carpet over time though. January 11, 2011
