We started our 11-week-old boy on the "Baby" formula and he gained almost 700 grams by the next vet visit, 4 weeks later. He weighs over 3 pounds and is still growing strong. (He relishes it with olive oil added.)

My boys love this food. Both of their coats are fluffy and soft. I'm so glad I found this site because my local pet store stoped selling their food :( Fast easy shipping will be ordering plenty of things in the future.

After reading the reviews on this site I had to give this stuff a try. I just bought my 2 ferrets about 2 months ago, one was 6wks and the the other 12wks. The 12wk old guy was HUGE, and his fur was very thin. He's a silver (so white with some gray guard hairs) but you could see his pink skin through his coat. He was really healthy looking otherwise, so I figured it was probably due to low quality diet at the pet store (which was compounded with him since he was sooo huge that his growth rate was very demanding) and sure enough, one month on this food and his coat is beautiful!! However, neither ferret is too crazy about the taste. They eat it okay, but their efforts to steal the cats food are doubled when they only have this in their cage. I've started mixing it with 8-in-1 Ultimate, add a splash of 8-in-1 Skin and Coat supplement, and they are happy campers!

We made this product part of our two boy ferrets diet (mixed with other premium foods) for the first 12 weeks after they left the litter. Our vet was amazed by how much they have grown, at just 20 weeks old they are 2.85 pounds each. They are also very energetic and have healthy coats. I read that the higher fat content found in food like this is essential for healthy development in youngsters. We have since stopped feeding this food and noticed a reduction in odor from their excrement. My wife and I reommend this product for baby ferrets.

I had been buying food from the local pet store. After researching I decided to buy this and Zupreem. I bought TF first and mixed it with the old food. I immediately noticed that she wasnt eating constantly and going potty so often. She was really skinny and petite before. After about a month on this she has filled out and has the shiniest fur, she doesnt eat constantly and I dont have to clean her litter box every day.Its a much more substantial, healthy food. I attribute her overall change to this food, I believe her old food was just fillers and didnt stick to her ribs therefore never really satisfying her appetite.

This food is *highly* recommended by my expert ferret vet (over 20+ years of treating fuzzies, treats over 1k fuzzies per year). It closely mimics the ferret's natural diet: very high protein and fat, very low carb (estimates of carb content in this food come in at 6% or lower, which is very rare in a ferret food). I also like that this TF food does not contain corn, which can be allergenic for some ferrets. Grains are essentially just fillers that make ferret foods cheap to manufacture, anyways. They most likely harm our fuzzies (insulinoma) and our pocket books, while helping pet food companies to make a profit. Not my idea of a good thing. TF baby is an exception, though. I mix this kibble with innova evo ferret (which contains even more protein, and less than 10% carbs). My fuzzies are very happy with this food, and so am I. Unlike most other kibbles, I can actually feel good about feeding this and not worry about possible health consequences, so it's worth the somewhat steep price for me (thank you ferret.com, your cheap shipping and low price on this kibble make it so convenient for me to buy it here!!!). The proof is in the pudding for this food. Example: I tend to adopt the "under-dog" ferrets at the shelter who are usually thin with bad coats. After a month or so on these two kibbles, you wouldn't even recognize them!
