I actually ordered this for my three rats. They love it. They
all pile in there and sleep and it is so cute. What is really special is that otherwise they sleep on the bottom of the cage in a house or nest out of site, but since we bought this, they
sleep up on the upper shelf in the bed, so we can see them. Only two can really fit inside together, but often the third rat will just pile up on top of them. Thanks for a great item!
I'm going to order the next size if you have it. The hook keeps it from falling off the shelf:)

We have a petite six your old female ferret named Mika. She BARELY fits in this bed, but that doesn't seem to bother her. She sleeps in this bed all the time! She digs at the bed before she gets in it to sleep, though, so she destroyed most of the lining after a couple of months. It's a cheap bed, though, so I just went ahead and got her a new one.

These are to small for a ferret, great for babies only, I have three, two girls and 1 boy, my girl are pretty small, but they want nothing to do with them, they tried to lay in it and found that it was to tight, so they decised to use them for volleyball haha!.
These beds are made with strong sturdy material, made well..
I recommend them for a smaller animal, or baby ferrets only..
