i got this for my 2 male rats and they love it! i took out the latters though cause they were kinda crappy, and my rats didnt even use them. i would also recomend the alligat bed, because they loved that too! (and its really cute) and the cage was really easy to put together, it took about 5 minutes

Bad news first, my ferret can escape from this cage. Whenever he wants to get out he would bite the bars and shake them back and forth and it would open. There is an easy way to pervent it by put a clip on the cage door. It worked for me. Good things about this cage is it is very spacious and alows bedding on the bottom(he loves to dig). Overall its a good cage.

I Love this cage!!!! My ferrets do too. It is a big cage for them and a very good price. There is nothing wrong with this cage. They always like to be with us so we bought this cage and it works out great!!! I would tell any ferret owner to get this cage!!!! Its great!!!!

This cage i AMAZING! it turned out to be way bigger than i thought it was and my 24 Pound Dog got in it when i first set it up, and she had room to spare. It was Very easy to set up and i am VERY satisfied!

this really sucks. my ferrets hated it and would always puke in it. i would not reccomend this for anyone else. if you buy this it will be a waste if space and money. also my ferrets would usually fall off and hurt themselves.it if costs this much money then it should be worth every penny.so i would look for a better quality if i were you.

Me and my two rats love the cage,its very spacious, its like a rat mansion, it only took about 20 minutes to asseble,it overall a great cage and I recommend it to any small animal lover,they love the hammock to lounge in,the 4 spacious levels, and the huge base is very big,and the ladders were very easy for Perry and Sport to get used to.Overall 5 STARS!

My ferret always potties in corners, so I just use towels instead of bedding... it makes the cage much easier to clean. This is a great cage to start with, especially considering how expensive it is to set up for a new ferret. I'd buy this and then save for a few months for something really large and nice. I don't like how far my ferret can fall from the top of this cage, but that can be remedied with smarter shelf placement. Just use two shelves halfway up to make a mostly solid floor, and place the third shelf below the opening. That way when they fall off the top floor its only a short distance to the third shelf.

I got two of these cages for the price of one other cage. I bought them for my two female rats and they are so happy in them. I really love this cage for my rats the only thing was that i had to over over some parts of it with wire because the spacing was kinda big. But it is so big for my two little ratties they love it and the price is great!!!

this cage is defiantly worth every penny and pays for its self over time.
easy to clean and honestly fits alot of ferrets.
i had 4 ferrets. 2 males 2 females and they all approved of the cage.
this cages comes with two food bowls.
for some odd reason most ferrets chew on the plastic bowl, safe but strange.
its a great economical cage and gives you a chance to buy other high quality products from www.ferret.com to better settle your ferret(s)

I bought this cage for my first ferret and it worked out pretty well but as he grew bigger the platforms were to small and he kept falling of. know i have 2 Fuzzy's and the platforms are Really to small i have to double them up and know there is not a whole lot of room to run around. other than that it is a great cage at a good price.

I bought this cage for my first ferret and he loves it!!! first hour he was falling down the plastic stairs, but learned how to climb them very fast. I also rearranged the interior design to be more convenient for my baby. Overall he loves the cage and that makes me happy too :) the cage is even bigger that I thought originally, so there is plenty of space for my ferret.

I have two rats, I got this as a replacement for their tank after one had 13 babies since I plan on keeping 2 or 3. They love this cage! The ramps make it easy to spread everything out on different levels, they love climbing the wires. The cage is easy to assemble and clean.

this was a good cage when i had one ferret. But i just got another one and its a bit small for them. if you have one its great! If you have two its okay. i definitley think no more than three at a time for this cage. But overall it is pretty nice

The cage is easy to set up and has plenty of room but is very difficult to clean! You have to remove the entire wire portion to dump out the bedding tray. Not convenient! I should have put the money towards a nicer model.

When I had one ferret this cage was great; when I had two this cage was great; and then I jumped to four and I don't know about the greatness anymore. They don't seem cramped at all though, I have two hammocks and two sleepy sacks in there at all times in case they get crowded, but they all try to sleep in one hammock anyway. It's a good size for probably up to three little ones but four is pushing it unless you let your ferrets out for the recommended four hours a day (which I do). I took the ramps out completely and use hammocks for "ramps" instead and they seem to enjoy jumping from hammock to hammock that way, ahah. I also rearranged the platform because the way they are pictured is very poor for hammock hanging. Good cage!

I got this cage about 6 months ago for my very first ferret, Zuci. I have since adopted two more (Soba and Draco Malfoy the Amazing Bouncing Ferret) and they get along great in it. It is much bigger than it appears to be in the picture and its a steal for only $50. It was easy to assemble- it look like 15 mins- and it is so easy to clean. The doors are nice and big (when I am cleaning and I do not want my fuzzies to come out I am able to stick my head and my arm in the door to clean the bottom). There is plenty of space for 3 ferrets, although I would not recommend housing more than 3 in there, and you can rearrange the shelves, too. If you want, although its not necessary, Superpets does sell extra shelving, so you can add surface space tot he cage. Someone mentioned that the cage came with hammocks- mine did not. Overall, its a great cage for a great price. My ferrets and I recommend it!

i bought this cage for my very first ferret and it worked woders for me. it's very spacious and easily accessible. the only thing i didn't like is the water bottles always hung crooked. but that's easily fixed with a water bottle that has an attachment so it doesnt stray from straight up. but other than that it'd great!

O MY GOSH! YOU HAVE TO GET THIS CAGE! MY RAT [daisey} IS LIKE A LITTLE PRINCESS! she is so small compare to this cage, when you click on it, you think ''oh its small, that would be a rip off to buy this''! BUT ITS NOT! it is BIG! this is a cumfy cage, comes with 2 bowls and 2 hamerrocks! if your fixen to get a BIG cage get this one!

I got this cage on backorder, it was worth it. Very big, my boy loves it! It's also strong and the best price for space. Water bottles won't hang perfectly but hey, that's with all cages. I highly recommend this cage. Shelves are strong, easy to put together. My lazy butt can clean it and hang toys easily w/out going through heck bending my arms. A+

I bought this cage for a larger female I have. I got it in and was suprised with the size. I mean it is very nice and spacious, and durable. It is very easy to remove the bottom pan for cleaning, I think it is a great deal, I even just went out and bought another ferret friend for my female because of all the room. I have seen this exact cage at the pet stores in my town for up to 100.00 so this is a good deal. Just buy it add a hammock, some toys, a corner litter box, and your ferret will have one great crib. I would also recommend getting a play pen so they can stretch there legs on a bigger area.

The doors are much too small. It is very difficult to hang anything because you have to bend your arm so much. The water bottles don't hang straight. The shelves are awful! They have a sunken area that food gets stuck in. They are very hard to move. The ramps are flimsy and they bend. The holes are too small for my normal-sized male ferret to fit through. The included dish is cheap plastic and ferrets will pull it out in a second. Remember that litter boxes won't fit through the doors, so you have to bend your hand at an awkward angle to scoop litter.
The absolute worst thing is getting it off the base to clean. It won't come off, then when you try to put it back on, it always gets stuck somewhere. If you weren't in a bad mood before, you would be after trying to clean this cage.
A true story: This cage fell out of my pickup on the freeway. It's gone now. I have to say I'm not sorry. Now I can buy my two ferrets a decent cage. I'm only sorry I wasted money on this before. Please, reconsider purchasing this awful thing. For sanity's sake.

This was my first cage for my first ferret and I'm amazed on the great deal I got on this cage. First off, the cage is HUGE! really large and with plenty of room for my fuzzy to play. The shelves are fully mobile and can be moved anywhere around the cage. The cage itself took about 2 minutes to put together, and is very sturdy. The shelves and the ramps are a little flimsy, but support her fine and do not look like they will give way. The "bowl in the hole" is very convenient and perfectly sized, even for my 2 1/2 month old baby. It really is a great cage for a great price and I 100% recommend it!

I use this cage for my 2 chinchillas, and it's great, it is big, the olny prolbem is that is a little hard to get the base off to clean it, but the cage itself is the best of the best, we love it! It is big and roomy, big enouf to put toys and hiding boxes and a lot of other things in there. It's awsome

My 3 ferrets love this cage, it is huge I measured what i thought it would be and it was bigger than i thought! It is roomy inside, and it comes with 2 food bowls, and a hammoc, I would reccomend this cage to any one!IT'S GREAT!!!!!!!!!

I Hate This Cage I would give it a 1.5/5 because when my ferret goes to the bathroom on a platform it leaks on to the floor, and i find it hard to clean.Go with the X-large insead it is way better.

This cage is generally wonderful. If your ferret "goes" in one of the corners of the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor, it could fall through the wires and cause a nasty mess on the floor. I solved that by folding a piece of cardboard into a 90 degree angle and placing it in the corner. Also, it can be hard to clean because it is so big. But besides that, my ferret loves the cage and is very comfortable! It's a pretty good quality and creates enough space for exercise, rest, food, water, and play. I am satisfied!
