My boys are cute little terrors, and I was very upset to find that design has been changed. Those built in hooks are stupid and useless. Why did they removed the clamps that you could adjust? One of my boys just pushes this thing down the stairs, making a big mess so he can poop in a corner that he shouldn't be pooping in. Total waste of money if you have crafty or stuborn ferrets. ferrets

So, for my first ferret, Savannah, I decided to get a litter box, and thought this would be good. I got the Long John, and had it arrive a few weeks later. When I put it in Savi's cage she ran over, and flipped it upside down! After many flipping insidents I got a C-clamp, and sucured it to the side of the cage- but heres the thing- Savannah, 4 month old, ferret kit, could hhardly get her little butt in- it was so small! After, that I threw it a away, and bought a MArshall ferret litter pan- it was much better, and very big. So what I have learned from this experience, is don't ever not read dimenshions!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kathy Doesn't fit
I should have read a couple of the previous reviews before purchasing the pans. First of all I agree, what in the world were they thinking making a pan w/o clips. My ferrets just move them all over the cage and in some instances turned them over. Not a pretty sight. Secondly they don't fit the Ferret Nation cage. I contacted ferret.com and I was able to return the product and receive a refund. I guess I will have to look else where for the old pans.

Rated 3 out of 5 by G Don't buy the extra lg hi corner pan-no clips to h
I purchased the extra large, hi corner pans. I have purchased the smaller ones in the past and was looking to upgrade in size for my growing ferrets. I am very unhappy! There are no clips to hold the cage in place so, the ferrets move the litter box and poop around it. Why on earth would anyone make a litter box intended for ferrets without clips to hold them in place?! I am so disappointed.

Well I ordered this pan without reading the comment below me! It's true. This new pan is not nearly as good as their old pan. It's not as heavy duty and it's smaller than the old style. One of my ferts is huge and will only use the old huge pan one or low enter cat box, like the kind at Wal-Mart, but those aren't tall enough, so poo tends to go over. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now. Maybe find the old pans on craigslist or something. I contacted the nice people at ferret.com and they gladly helped me with a refund. They are such a helpful company, so I will def be coming back to them for everything ferret in the future. I have not used the pan. Not sure if my others would like it, and as the other person below said about the indents inside the pan could be a problem with the poo. This pan would probably be fine if you have smaller to medium ferrets. Still an upgrade from those tiny corner boxes. One nice looking thing about the pan is that it has screw type things on both sides of the back to fix to the cage and I think it would be sturdy, but as I've said I have not used it and may donate it to a shelter anyways. The people at ferret.com said they should get an updated pic from Superpet soon since they did not know it was an old pic, so you'll know what you're getting as it was a surprise to me. Overall I guess it would be okay if your kids weren't as picky as mine XP
