I'm actually shocked at the bad reviews here. This bowl is fantastic - and the only one my ferrets will eat out of. The slanted design is great and makes it comfortable for the ferrets to eat out of. You do need to make sure you clip it in place correctly or all bets are off. For some of the newer cages that have wider spaces, this may not be your best bet, as the clips do need to be positioned properly. B

I got this since my boys like to drag their food bowl to different levels spilling food everywhere. I was surprised at how big it is that is the only plus I give it. It too my forever to install when I would get one side screwed in the other side would slip off of the clip. It took my boys about 2 seconds to realize they could pop it off from the bottom. I now have it permanently attached to the clips so it cannot come off.

I bought this dish because i thought it would stop my ferret from tipping over dishes, the end of the annoying messes that would have to be cleaned up evey day. I was DEAD wrong the corner crock was just another dish my ferret could tip over and have the most fun of her life with. Also in about 10 minutes my ferret broke the lock attachments, and the dish was completely useless. BUYER beware this is most likely a waste of money. If your looking for the perfect dish the ceramic ones would probably be the best. OR you could buy this dish and add another fun toy to your ferrets collection.

I wanted a bowl that attached to the cage A: to prevent my ratties from tipping it over and B: to save floor space.
The girls love it because it's at a good height. It doesn't save much floor space because it's so big (which is okay).
As far as using it with rats, I'd say get it. A little difficult to install, but good either way!

My fuzzy kept overturning his dish, so I bought this because I thought it was a great idea. However, once I installed it to his cage he always had to stand up to eat. I think it is made for certain types of cages :-( I also found a bit of difficult getting it latched on to the snaps making refilling his dish not so easy! About 1 week after I purchased and installed this dish to his cage, he managed to break it off one of the snaps. I took it back and got a full refund.

i glued the clips TO the cup and then all i had to do was unscrew the backing to remove the bowl. Once my fuzzies learned they couldnt remove it, they stopped trying. I'm ordering 2 more now.

This lasted on our cage maybe 30 secs. After a bit of work and getting it more securely attached our ferrets managed to break the clips completely and the rounded bottom does not allow it to lay flat so was useless after clips broke. Our ferrets did enjoy pushing it all around the cage. The bowl part is very nice plastic (our chewer didn't even phase it) and it would be nice if there was another way of attaching it to the cage.

I figured I try this product out despite the poor reviews. It's only $3.99, what's to loose? Well how about my sanity? It's worth more than $3.99. This crock must be designed for rounded corners because it sure doesn't work for square, 90 degree ones. Don't buy this product! Every bad review is justified.

I bought 2 of these from a different web site and they were taken off the cage by my ferrets right away. I then used plastic weld and permenatley attached the cage connectors to the bowl and it is now a great bowl.

I bought this bowl for my little guy because he was tipping over his bowl. The first task was getting the bowl onto my Superpet cage, which was not a simple task (they are not made specifically for SuperPet as suggested, they're just terrible bowls). Needless to say, it took my lil guy about 2 minutes to realized he could push the bowl up from underneath. If you're looking for a good bowl, there is a plastic bin-feeder made by Superpet that I would highly recommend.

I bought 2 for my ferret. He proceeded to flip it off its attachments - several times!!! No matter what we did, he kept flipping it off.

The corner design is pleasing to the eyes and a nice idea, but in reality it is really impractical. I have a FerretNation cage and there are only a few corners available in that cage because of the full doors.
The crock also didn't pass two important tests. The first test if failed was from my digger. He was able to dig all of the food out and pop the crock off of the clips easily. The clips also don't work well on the bars of the FerretNation cage, so I think that SuperPet designed it to only work with their cages.
The second test it failed was that my husband was able to break the knob on one of the clips on accident while he was watching the ferrets. Having only one clip made it even easier for my digger to flip over. Overall, these crocks cannot withstand normal wear & tear in a ferret cage. Although they area great price, you're better off spending a few more dollars for a bowl that is dig-proof and won't break easily.

I bought this bowl because my ferrets kept tipping their old one over. It was a good idea, however, It did not stay on its attachments, so it did not help my problem much. Later I decided to superglue the attachers on to the bowl, and that worked well until the plastic snapped. I would not reccomend this product, for its bad quality and its difficulty to attach to the cage.

The concept seemed good but it worked terribly within the cage. I believe the makers made this product specifically for their brand of cages; it did not fit correctly in the corner of my own cage. It was near impossible to fasten the hooks to the corner in a way that would keep the bowl securly locked. Basically I am unable to use this product.

My ferrets still tipped it over. But it could have been the operator not the maker!
