I have four fuzzies that live in a large cage so I bought two of these feeders. Within minutes of filling them up, they emptied both out and threw the food on the floor. I started just filling up the bottom of the feeders every morning; not being able to take advantage of the "storage" capability of the feeders. After a week, the animals learned they could push the feeders up off the anchor on the cage. I'm out here now looking for something that will work...

I haven't bought this product but I was reading the description and saw this... * Super Pet's Suction-Cups (sold seperately) can be inserted into the Snap-Lock bracket allowing you to secure a Gravity Bin Feeder inside a glass enclosure.
PLEASE don't ever ever ever put your ferret or other small animal in a glass enclosure they cannot breath in there. The only thing I an think of that should be in glass is a reptile. NEVER a small mammal.

I did not buy this product from the site but I would recommend it. My ferrets dug out all the food at first but they soon realized that it was for food not for play (putting vite on the food helps them stop digging at it.) It's very durable and nice if I have a random day I will be out longer than expected. I have had no problems with it coming disconnected from the cage or problems like that. Overall a great product

If your ferret likes to dig, I definitely don't recommend this. Within about 15 seconds of installing this in my fuzzies cage, he dug ALL of the food out, and being a gravity feeder, it was a lot of food! Hopefully with time he will learn to cut it out.

My ferret loves to dig as well as push food dishes around. I thought the small food dispenser part of this product would keep her from doing the former. I can't use this thing. When I put some food in and let her check it out, she started pulling all of her food out into her cage (which is a lot when you consider how much it holds). I think I wasted a lot of expensive pet food just trying to use this product. This thing is an absolute waste. I'm wanting to try another clamp on food dish, but I think this one is horrible if your ferret loves to dig.

My two ferrets knock this off of it's holder and we lose a lot of food because of them knocking it off.

I bought one of these yesterday and I love it! No more throwing and dragging bowls around and I don't have to fill the bowl constantly. It took my boys a few minutes to figure out it was for food but they finally started eating out of it. It fits well on the side of my cage and doesn't budge no matter how much they try.

My guinea pig loves to knock over his food bowls and he wastes so much food! Once I bought this bin feeder, there were no spills and only a few pellets were ever lost. After about 4 months however, the bracket that holds the feeder onto the wires snapped. I was lucky because I called the company and they said they would replace this, but considering the price, it is so easy just to buy a new one. Overall, considering how much food money this bin feeder saved me every week, this thing pays for its self in one feeding!
Love the colours since they match the Super Pet cages perfectly. Berry, Voilet, light Purple, Sage, black, white and others. A must buy for any frisky critter!

We have had one of these feeders for about 5 years now. Our ferrets have been able to knock it over and remove it from their cage since day one. The bracket was basically worthless. We use double sided velcro (the kind you get in a big roll to wrap around cables) and wraped a long piece at the top and on at the bottom, just above the bowl part. This has kept the feeder from being torn off the cage (and I ferrets can get anything off in just a few minutes). The only thing is our youngest two like to dig the food out, and since this holds alot of food, alot of food gets thrown on the floor.
