Unsafe and not quality. I cant believe these are even being sold I felt so ripped off!
I have trimmed hundreds of rabbits nails.
Took these out of the package and could tell they were crap. I took one look at them they almost fell apart while I was looking at them. I packaged them back up they are going back to the store.I paid $4.99 for them glad they are sold cheaper on ferrets.com. I am so glad I did not even use them!! I knew better!
The "Cliper" Part is larger than my ferrets hand!!
THESE HAVE NO EDGE on them at all!!
I am wondering if edge cutter/grinder in the factory fell asleep while making these. I can get better clippers at the .99 cents store! I can make better clippers out of a popsicle stick!
These are safe for kids because they do not do anything! Not safe for ferrets or any animal.

I bought these when I lost the similarly styled cat clippers I had. The blades were dull and crushed the nail. I made Loki bleed twice and I have never, EVER made him bleed using the cat clippers. Don't waste your money!

peach my ferret she just likes them so much that i would recommend that to others who own ferrets .But she plays but they are fixable .You might not want your ferret to chew on 'em.

The magnetic holder is a wonderful idea as I never lost the nail clippers. The nail clippers stayed sharp for well over a year while being used on 12 ferrets every 2 weeks.

Well I purchased the clippers and matching hair brush from a pet store on clearance and I found the clippers to be alright. I don't have any problems with them they seem to be plenty sharp enough. No bleeding and and haven't had any splintering of the nail. However I have had them for a year and will need to replace soon.

I bought these at a pet store and they are just awful! The blades are so dull they just crush the nail. the case was a cute idea, but it broke the very first time I used them. I wish I would have known...I would have used my money on a better pair then wasting them on these!

I bought these some time back because of the price and the magnetic, which I find very convenient. Unfortunately, the clippers themselves are awful. I used them once, then went back to my regular nail clippers. The blades are dull, and splintered my ferrets' nails, which had never happened with my other clippers

I made the mistake of purchasing these at a retail store some time ago. While they are cute in design, they are truly of poor quality and cheaply made. The blades are not nearly sharp enough and the product is flimsy and lightweight. They tend to crush nails rather then provide a clean cut edge. The fulcrum of the scissors provide poor leverage as well. The holder also broke in a short amount of time. (And yes, after decades of trimming pet nails, I do know how to properly hold my ferrets!) Don't waste your money. Spend a few bucks more for decent clippers that are easy to use, safe, and effective. There are many better choices on the market including cat nail clippers. Although low in cost and cute in design, my fuzzies and I have to give a "1 star" rating to this inferior product due to its poor quality and design.

i think the nail clippers are really bad quality because the clipper does not spread out far enough and but since the case is magnetic i put it on my ferret's cage and it worked well, except he keeps biting it and making it fall off

I DISAGREE WITH THE OTHERS THEY WORK GREAT YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO HOLD YOUR FERRET IN ORDER TO CUT THE NAILS. I AM BUYING A SPARE PAIR BECAUSE I HAVE 2 VERY SMALL CHIHUAHUAS AND FOR 6 YEARS HAD TO BRING THEM TO THE VET TO CUT THEIR NAILS BECAUSE THEY BEND WITH THESE I AM ABLE TO CUT THEIR NAILS MYSELF WITH OUT THE RISK OF CUTTING TO SHORT.

These have worked ok for me, they cut the nail but not very well. The blade is not sharp at all, it much easier just to use regular toenail clippers. . . I dont think they are work the money. . . I got mine with some ferrets I rescued, so they work a a back up

I got these and before I could use them the holder broke. My ferrets seemed to swirm around alot more than usual. Clipper blade is NOT sharp enough, seemed like it just bent the nail instead of cutting it. DO NOT BUY THESE!

I bought this same pair of trimmers from petsmart and they broke after only a few times of use... they fell apart in my hands. Even before they broke they didn't trim my ferret's nails clean at all. They aren't very sharp and would sometimes just bend the nail causing my ferret to squirm with pain. I would not recomend these to any ferret owner. I actually found that using a regular pair of finger nail trimmers worked just fine. Save your self $2 and DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!
