These cages are the worst things I have ever seen. I have one for a chinchilla and he escapes from them all the time. Also, the wire top doesn't secure into the pan, there have been times where he's knocked the cage off the base. They are a pain to clean and the shelves are terrible. Go with a Ferret Nation, they're a better deal!

First I will say that cleaning this is not the easiest but it is a small price to pay for the quality and price of this ferret home. There is more than enough room for our girls to play in and is extremely sturdy. Who ever says that the shelves aren't strong enough to hold even one ferret must have a very overweight ferret cause all 3 of our girls can stand on one shelf without a single problem. Buy this cage and use the money you save to get your babies some toys they will thank you for it.

If you intend to purchase a case for your ferret you WILL waste your money on it. The plastic shelves aren't supportive enough for the weight of one ferret (mine are still kits). I will be purchasing a Ferret Nation cage for the ferrets and use this cheap cage for my rat. WARNING: At the time the box was opened there were wires that were to close together to join with another panel. The slide was broken right out of the box! My boy have been in there for a few weeks and have been able to bend the bars in their attempt to get out. My advise is to save your money and get the Farret Nation.

The entire line of Super Pet Cages are the biggest pieces of junk ever! I got one with a pair of rescue ferrets, and unfortunately, it is easy to get their feet caught in the junky little doors when you close them! It is either hard to close and/or open, or it is too easy for a ferret to open! Spend the little bit extra and buy the Ferret Nation, which is what my regular babies are in, and it is top quality and totally awesome and easy to clean!!! Toss this Super Cage hunk of junk in the trash if you have not! NOT VET APPROVED! MINE HATES THEM!!!

I Have rescued ferrets and total i now have 6 and we love this cage. I can connect them together for added fun for my babies and they love it.I have three of these cages.Thet are easy to clean and very easy to move. The base could be stronger but over all this is in my opinion the best ferret cage.
