I bought these some time back because of the price and the magnetic, which I find very convenient. Unfortunately, the clippers themselves are awful. I used them once, then went back to my regular nail clippers. The blades are dull, and splintered my ferrets' nails, which had never happened with my other clippers

I made the mistake of purchasing these at a retail store some time ago. While they are cute in design, they are truly of poor quality and cheaply made. The blades are not nearly sharp enough and the product is flimsy and lightweight. They tend to crush nails rather then provide a clean cut edge. The fulcrum of the scissors provide poor leverage as well. The holder also broke in a short amount of time. (And yes, after decades of trimming pet nails, I do know how to properly hold my ferrets!) Don't waste your money. Spend a few bucks more for decent clippers that are easy to use, safe, and effective. There are many better choices on the market including cat nail clippers. Although low in cost and cute in design, my fuzzies and I have to give a "1 star" rating to this inferior product due to its poor quality and design.

i think the nail clippers are really bad quality because the clipper does not spread out far enough and but since the case is magnetic i put it on my ferret's cage and it worked well, except he keeps biting it and making it fall off
