When i first got my two fuzzkids i got this cage and HATED IT! why? im not sure i just really didnt like it but i got more ferrets off of craigslist which also came with the same cage. eventually we had 3 misc cages and 8 ferrets in my room, not because they didnt get along but because i couldent get a cage big enough for them all. so we got crafty. we took two of these cages and took the bottom pans off, tore off one right and one left wall and attached them together and now we have a HUGE cage with 6 shelves and so much floor space for them to play, we also have 5 hammocks and a cat bed in it plus two large sized litter boxes, 4 water bottles and a feeder trough and 2 food crocks. and the little tube that connects to the shelf? we took it and attached it to a long straight one and another corner one and attached that other corner one to another hole in the shelf and they have their play tubes IN their cage! i love it and so do they. the only thing i could think to say bad is one of the shelves that their food is on if starting to sag... but its not affecting anything at all. i recommend this to any ferret owner!

THis cage is great!I got it about a year ago and it still looks almost brand new!=D I would only put one or two ferrets in there though.I also had to get get a new hammock because my 2 ferrets got to big!But it's kinda hard to clean if they go poop on a tray.My furballs love it though so I'm happy!!!

I have two ferrets living in this cage and they can both snuggle up, or have their own space. Has room for water, food, two extra bed (or blankets, whatever works) and a hammock.

I previously had an extra large cage and added on the wiring from a large cage to the top to make a multi level cage for my 2 babies. I saw this cage and fell in love. It was even on sale for 80 bucks. Brought it home, assembly was EASY. However, I am not happy I invested in this cage at all. I don't use the slide because it kept snapping off, the bottom level was used as a toilet, which isn't the cages fault, but the litter box wasn't being used. There is absolutely no room for playing. I have a feeder, litter box and 2 water bottles at the bottom and I feel bad for them because all they can do is sleep and climb up the side of the cage.....they wouldn't use the tube, slide and rarely the ramp because it keeps snapping off. Many many times I have fixed it but keeps coming apart. It's a pain to clean, you have to take the whole top part of the cage off to clean it. I have 2 hammocks and 2 sleeper sacks in there and that is about it. No room for any other fun. NOT happy at all. I'm going to convert back to my "rigged" cage....

Ferret Rater from USA
I have had this cage for too long, I got it when I first got my ferret and thought "this is a decent cage, and who could beat the price!" but really, now that I have settled into it, it is just a pain. The little doors are inconvenient, especially when you want to move around their shelves or toys, it will take up a decent amount of time to get that done, even cleaning is a nightmare, having to take off the whole cage just to clean their litter, really? Was it really that difficult to make it at least a slide out tray? I also don't care for all of the plastic, it is not very sturdy and I am always afraid the clips are going to break. It has never seemed sturdy to me...
Anyway, What you should do is just save up a little more money and buy a Ferret Nation, they are a dream come true!

I have had two DIFFERENT cages of this model... both have had warped shelves, broken slides, and overall poor quality in just a few months. The slide breaks, it's just not made to support the weight of a grown ferret. I highly suggest investing in extra shelves as my ferret has fallen from this cage several times. I have to set my shelves up so that it's a whole level, the tabs on the shelves had to be cut off to do this. So not worth the money, but it is cheap, you get what you pay for.

I've got 2 ferrets who love to play. I bought 2 of these, modified them slightly, and now i have a wonderful larger cage for my little ones. One of the slides broke but I reconfigured the cage layout and now theres no problem.

When I bought my little girl I picked up this cage. When she got a little older and gained more weight (not fat) she would love going down the slide, but it broke off.. I think this cage is hard to clean beacuse you have to take the whole top cage off to dump the bottom. Also it scares me becuase I recently bought a baby boy home and he is a frisky one and falls off the top level, the levels are a little skinny for my likings. But you can beat it for a hundred bucks.. it was worth the money.

My ferret seems to enjoy her new house but she is still afraid to get in her hammock! I regret buying it at a pet store because I paid 199.99 plus tax for it. I could have got the large ferret nation for that. But the elbow, tunnel and ladder are all holding up, she uses them all. I also love how it has 3 doors! One on the top and 2 on the front. Great first home.
