Duck soup-Ferrets LOVE IT!!, 7/27/2010
Robin from Howell, NJ

First this is absolutely the BEST PRICE I have seen for years and I buy this all the time. This is the best stuff for ferrets. Not only when they are under the weather but all the time. I can tell you this has been a lfe saver to more than 1 of my rescue ferrets. It has all the right ingredients PLUS plenty of fluid as ferrets like to drink. This will help your ferret(s) be as healthy as possible. I give it at least every other day if not every day with about a teaspoon of corn syrup(for Adrenal issues) and a tablespoon or 2 of Turkey or Beef baby food from a jar. They will go crazy. Email me with issues rcrn5@verizon.net.

GREAT product, 8/13/2009
Kyley from Tulsa,OK

My new ferret was very skinny when i got him (you could see every bone in his body) and so i ordered this product, the ferretvite, and ferret lax. I mixed alittle bit of all the products together added water and VUALA! My fuzzy was reluctant to try it at first but now he likes it very much! He is even getting his energy back and i have only given it to him once!!! Great product, Great price!!!

I mix with broth, 8/13/2009
Ferret Parent from Dallas, TX

I boil a couple of organic chicken parts (usually wings with skin-on) and after they've cooked completely, I add the dry duk soup powder and make up a batch. I then put most of it in tiny containers and freeze it. I keep a small quantity in the refrigerator and the only way my ferrets with eat Duk (and I know they need it) is with a raw egg yolk (a little bit of Duk mixed in with the yolk). Always separate the egg white completely (use an egg separator) because raw egg white (cooked egg white is ok, though) contains a B-vitamin blocker called Avidin. I usually split the yolk mixture between both my two ferrets after I've mixed a teaspoon of Duk into it. Raw egg yolk makes a ferret's stool runny, so be sure he's getting plenty of his regular solid food to bulk it up. Good luck!

Ferrets Love it!!!, 5/5/2009
Michelle from Batesville, AR

My new little fuzzy got sick and this soup mix fixed him right up. I had to give him antibiotics and he wouldn't take the meds unless it was in the duk soup.

Awsome !!!, 3/29/2009
Sarah from Missouri

I have an elderly ferret that had lost alot of weight and would not eat. At first he would not eat the duck soup. But after I started feeding it to him in a syrgine he loved it. I now mix it in a bowl into a soup and he eats two bowls a day. He has put on weight and is back to his old self. I would reccommend this for anyone.

AMAZING STUFF, 3/18/2009
Alyssa from Atlanta, GA

I used this stuff when my already petite ferret got sick and started eating less. This helped her and in no time she was healthy as could be. But thats not all! I had an old rat that was getting weak and quit eating. We assumed she was not going to live much longer. I fixed her a 2 bowls a day of this soup and it was all she would eat. It helped her put her weight back up and added another 2 months to her life (quite good for a rat)

Great product -how to make more palatable, 2/24/2009
KC from Texas

I had a sick little dehydrated rescue ferret that I could not get to eat hard food, and she would not put on weight. I tried to feed her the duck soup but she didn't want to eat it. I squirted in some Ferretone and boy, now she DIVES into it!!! What a difference in her weight and energy too! Great product, does what it is supposed to, and with the Ferretone even my healthy ferrets try to sneak some!

This product is not for every fuzzy baby!, 2/11/2009
Jessica from Waterbury, CT

I tried this product with my male ferret and he would not even eat his food with the Duk soup on it! I tried for a whole week, and he still would not eat his food or the duk soup separate! But I tried another product 8in1 FerretVite; My ferret LOVES this product! So I guess Duk soup isn't for every fuzzy!

Duk Soup Mix for Ferrets, 11/29/2008
Charles Strassner from Utah

Great product !!! We often adopt ferrets that have been raised solo and forget they are ferrets. They may get depressed and go off their food, so we make a bowl of Marshal Ferret food, Ferretvite and Duk Soup, adding warm water to make a nice tasty warm meal the consistancy of gravy. They lap it up like candy. Sometimes we may need to hand feed to get one back to good spirits. Duk Soup is a great supplement. This product has saved the life of many new fuzzies. Introduce this mixed with your usual food for best results. Our guys will now eat any thing we put in their bowl. Duk Soup is part of their regular diet, so if anyone gets ill, they are already used to Duk Soup.

Ferrets dislike it; I'm fine with it., 11/13/2008
Ant from NY

I bought this to attempt to fatten up one of my skinny guys. Only problem is that he goes berserk whenever I put some strange foods near his face. This is only my experience, I realize how well it works for other pet owners. So I guess it depends on the pet and amount of patience one has. Good produce nonetheless (even if it has a strange smell, especially to ferrets :P).

K8ln from Bartlesville,OK

I buy this for my fert who is fighting cancer and it helps keep the weight on her so much better. She won't eat her kibble if she's having a down day, but she has never turned down her duck soup. The vet is supper impressed with how well she is doing, and I know this stuff saved her life!

This stuff is great for ferrets who are sick, 8/29/2008
April from Carbondale, IL

my ferret Kodo recently was diagnosed with Aldrenal Disease. He refused to eat, so the vet told us to use Duk Soup. He loves this stuff. He has gained so much weight and is doing much better. ( We have been feeding every 4 hours though). This stuff is great for ferrests who are sick and need a pick me up.

Good if other ferrets love it, but mine wont touch, 8/26/2008
Kayla from Knoxville, TN

I have 2 ferrets, my older one Mellow gave it a few licks and then ran away from it, and my younger one Ricky wouldn't even give it a try. They love the hard Marshall's tho. One thing I really didn't like about it is that is stinks. I guess if other ferrets love it then that's good, but I have highly picky ferrets. They won't even eat cooked chicken, so I just took a chance with this stuff and it was a no. At least it don't cost to much.

Excellent Supplement, 2/27/2008
Katherine Strassner from Provo, Utah

An adopted ferret we recently took in lost interest in eating and became very dehydrated and weak. With a little duck soup added to some softened food, making a soupy mix, the little guy was quickly back on his feet! All 8 of our ferrets get some of this once a week and their overall conditon is tremendously improved!
