My ferrets like to play and sleep in the Octo's body, but the legs kind of collapse and they don't really know what to do with them. Every once and awhile I'll see one in the legs but it is rare, usually one of my smaller ferrets. I only bring it out every so often because they tend to get bored with it easy.

My ferrets love to use this as a sleep sac, but have no use for its arm tunnels and simply ignore them. If mine wore out, I would get another but I was disappointed that they were not interested in it as a 'toy' at all. I have spoken to other owners and most of their ferrets also view this as a bed, not a toy.

My ferrets loved this when they were little. Then they got too big to use the arm tunnels. After that one of my boys just started eating the fleece from the arms. Had to toss it.

This is one of my ferrets' favorite toy and bedding ! They can play for hours in the Octo-Play, tunneling and fighting and they love having their nap in it ! Large enough for multiple ferrets. This toy is really great !

My ferrets love it! They love to sleep in it, all cuddled up together. It has not held up through multiple washings well at all. Anything that is made for ferrets should be able to survive the washing machine, but mine did not hold its shape well, got pilly, and faded horribly. The ferrets still like it, even though it's misshapen and looks like it's been washed 100 times.

This is the best toy for your ferret babies ! My ferrets love to sleep in it, have a game of peekaboo and tunnel for hours in the 11 openings. A friend told me that her ferrets love it too and she has the Octo-Play for years so that means its pretty though ! Cute toy that your ferrets will enjoy for the rest of their life !

I have one male ferret, Spazzy Fresh. He loves this octopus. He doesn't play with it however, just sleeps in it for the most part. Everytime I come home I find him inside of this toy. I would recomend this to anyone who has a ferret!

I have ferrets who enjoy this toy. They however, do not see the hazards that come with it. I have run into a few problems with it. My older ferret (8) would go inside and get stuck in the openings in the middle of the eight arms. He was insulinomic and had a Pred Belly. I could not get him out if he tried to go through the arms. Also, I found it difficult to get them out. I have had to resort to gently gathering thier hind legs and sliding my hand above their hips and pulling them out feet first because the hole is not large enough for a hand and ferret to pass through together. The last issue is the safety of the inside of the Octopus. After wear from play and washing the seams which are not enclosed/covered; wear and allow the foam lining to crack off. If consumed this foam could kill a ferret due to blockage and/or infection. Stick with the alligator, fish or elephant.

My Ferrets love tunneling in the Octo-Play arms and love to sleep in it ! This is the best thing ever ! So cute, so soft and they love it ! a friend of mine told me that she has it since she got her first ferret (which is 6 years old now !) and the Octo-Play is still in perfect shape !

Francine and Pearl definitely love this little guy. He started to get a bit yucky so we threw it in the wash and it was fine too! I would definitely recommend this!

its a nice toy, and my guy would like it more, except its too light and the entry holes are too small. He can only exit from the arms and because it is so light, he ends up under it most of the time instead of inside. I would only recommend it if your bandit is small.

This toy is great! We bought it for our new ferret. He loves to get under it more so than in it. Great quality and easy to clean but our silly carpet shark rarely goes in it. He just likes to jump on it and wriggle his way under it. When he does manage to get inside it he comes out the holes on top of the arms instead of going all the way through. Not a design flaw, just what he likes to do.

The basic design idea is great, but the holes on the top of each arm really confuse my boys. They can't get through the arm without coming out the hole on top. It would be much better without the holes on the top of the arms. They don't play in it much, as they are slow getting in and out. But they love sleeping in it.

About half of my ferrets like the Octopus. The biggest boys cannot play in the arms at all because the openings are too small. All they can do is poke their head in. It is durable and has held up nicely thru washings and ferret attacks.

My 6 ferrets love this toy. Pretty durable over all as i have washed this item quite a few times since my smallest ferret loves to sleep in this. One of my ferrets was able to chew a hole in it, but i cant think of any items that they have not been able to do that with.:)

The Octo-Play is so much fun! My two fuzzies Toby and Cooper love to jump on it and run in and out of the arms chasing each other. The octopus is their bed in their downstairs playpen and they love to curl up together and sleep after they are worn out. It is adorable when they hang out of the mouth and arms! It cracks me up! Definitely a great buy!

The Octo-Play is sure a very cute and awesome interactive toy ! Perfect for
interaction with the ferret and the owner or with other ferrets. My ferrets
have been playing in it for several hours since yesterday and it is very fun
and cute to watch them. There are many holes for ferrets to tunnel in for
hours. A friend of mine told me that she has the Octo-Play since 6 years and
her ferret still play with it. My ferrets also seem to love it, which means
it is a great buy for ferrets owner, no matter if you own a single or a pair
of ferret. In addition to be a cute feret toy, the Octo-Play provide a fun
tunneling center for your ferrets to play in for hours !

My ferret Zeus loves this the most. The female Aphrodite loves the arm tunnels. Zeus just wants to sleep in the mouth part all the time with his tail hanging out. It looks like the octopus has a tongue!!

At first my two butts wouldn't have anything to do with it, but I added it in their cage and they love it. They always run into it after a shower to dry off and they sleep just inside the base, definately calls for picture time when they do.
The only negative things with this product is that Jasper [The chewer of the bunch] likes to break pieces off and I'm worried he'll get sick at some point. It's not that bad, just little fuzz pieces. But any fabric is going to have that problem with him.

I have two male fuzzies and they love their Octopus!!! They will dance around waiting on you to get it down to them. It's sooo funny to watch them play around it, in it and chase each other through it!!! An awesome buy for any fuzzy family.

I am slightly concerned as I recieved a 2nd one of these for my birthday, went to exchange it and was told that it had been recalled.
It does well in the washer, i always toss mine in the washing machine when I wash their bedding then i let it sit out to dry. They have lots of fun catching eachother in this .. one of their favorite hiding places when we go on longer car rides.

We have 5 ferrets ranging in age from 3 months to 10 months old and they all love their octupus! When we rotate toys and they don't have it, they longingly look at it from inside their playpen. Can't wait to try either the elephant or the alligator!

My 7 month old female ferret loves this toy. She crawls into the body of the octopus through the mouth, and pokes her head out of the tentacles to try and grab my wiggling fingers, or a dangling toy. An unforeseen benefit is that after a bath, she'll crawl inside the octopus and wiggle around until she's dry. MUCH better than scooting around the filthy floor on her belly, as she did previously. The quality of the octopus is great, it's ferret approved, and it's cute enough that I don't mind it lying around.

When I first saw this I had to have it, but my five fuzzies are not as in love with it as I am. I think it is absolutely adorable, but when I leave it down for them to play with they merely run past it or over it. I have connected it to the end of their tubes and force them to run through it hoping they would love it more once they used it but they just run on out and go on to the next thing they also never go through the whole leg because of the little holes in the legs. Overall good make and washes well, just my ferts don't use it at all.

My two ferrets love this thing! They love play fighting inside of it. The price was AWESOME and the quality and size is great! Much bigger than I thought it would be. Not to mention my cats like it too. Definitely one of my ferrets favorite toys.

My two ferrets loved it! They love sticking there head out of the arms and bringing chew treats inside. Sometime I dangle it above them and they grab on to the arms. Its alot of fun. I also gave it to my freind as a gift and her ferrets love it also.

as soon as i took this product out of the bag my babies were interested. they cant get enough, they all even try to get in the same leg together! (there's 5 so that can be a squeeze!) they all love it especially my two girls. FUN FUN FUN!!!!

My 3 ferrets love this toy alot.They hide in the head, and tunnels, and attack each other, like hide and seek.
The Lable says to hand wash, But I wash it in the washing machine, on the gently cycle. And than delicate in the dryer. I dont hand wash anything!

Quality of this product seems to be good. Well built and constructed. I dont know if i was the packaging or what but it wont stay open ever. My ferret never goes in and only walks and lays on it because I cant ever get it to stay open for him.

We have three ferrets and this toy does entertain them. They do not use it all the time. But I have a small play area in the living room with this toy plus several boxes and a crinkle tube. They enjoy using the Octo-play. They have even have figured out how to crawl head first into the openings in the middle of the legs of the toy. I am glad that I got it for them. They are small ferret and I see that a larger ferret might have a hard time crawling through it.

My two boys love this toy. One will get in it and when the other tries to go in he attacks him. They have a blast, the only probelm that it has to be hand washed, but is still worth since it is ten dollars more at your local pet stores.

I am a Permenant Foster mom for a ferret rescue. The boys love it! I created a clamp and hung one in a ferret condo. Three of my "pack" (very big boys) shove themselves into at the same time. I am gonna hang 2 more! I have six boys that run together as buds and annoy my other 5 ferrets and the boys hog it so I hope two more will allow the others to have some more fun. They all love it. And if you hang it the legs are not a problem,,,its just another quick escape hatch. LOL

My kids lose interest in toys pretty easily usually reverting to each other for entertainment, however they are always in and out of this toy. They like to throw and roll it around, it seems like they struggle to get in and out of it but Ive seen booth of my boys in it at once so I think its just part of the game.

I got this as a christmas present to my 2 ferrets. They don't like it at all, only once in the 2 years i have had it did they ever go in it and they are to big anyway. So i would only recommend it if u have aether small ferrets or young ferrets

I have recently bought this for my ferrets and it is not meant for big ferrets like mine. My ferrets can't even fit in there hardly! The octos legs aren't firm either they just flop around. I wouldn't recommend this to big ferrets.

I would say that this would be a fantastic toy if the ferrets can get in it. I have to constantly keep pulling it out moving the legs so they can get in it, but they always keep going to it so I would have to say they like it better than I do.

I absolutely love this toy, and so do my ferrets. They dont use it a whole lot during the hotter months for the obvious reasons, but they love to sleep in it on cooler nights and I often wake up to cute little faces poking out of the mouth at me. Its a thick fabric, very sturdy, and enjoyable for my 3 little fuzzbutts. Its a great product.

My 6 ferrets all enjoy this toy. Sometimes they use it to play in. Other times they use it to sleep it. Its hilarious watching ferrets go in and out of the legs and then later seeing just a nose or tail sticking out to show they are sleeping in there. Glad I purchased this toy as all my ferrets love it!

it looked nice and its pretty cool, my lil guys do on it once in a while because they like the sleeves, theyre not wild about it but may be its because they have so many toys out. They dont go crazy playing on it but they like to hide and sleep there.

This is one of their favorite toys! They play in it, chasing each other through the arms, they sleep in it, they wrestle in it! This was a wonderful toy for the price. Also it cleans up really well in the washer. My girls are usually really rough with toys and tear them apart. This has been in their cage with them for months and I havent seen one frayed edge.

When I saw this in the store I thought it might be a waste of money but my son wanted to try it for our ferret, Ringo. To my surprise, he loves it. He likes to sleep in the middle and come in and out through the legs. It was definitely worth the cost.

This is by far one of my ferret's favorite toys. The tunnels through the legs seem to keep her occupied for hours a day, and she enjoys using the center as a comfy place to rest as well. This product is great because of its quality and usefulness for both the privacy and play of my ferret.
