When I got this cage I thought it would be the last model I would ever buy, I am currently waiting for my FN 142. Not only is it a pain to assemble, I have an older boy who can't move around in the upper levels. The angle on the ramps is too steep and believe me I have tried every conceivable way to adjust it. We have had to make hammock that fit across the cage and hang under the shelves just to keep him from falling off the narrow levels. I don't even want to think about how difficult it is to clean, the doors do not allow enough access for me to clean to my satisfaction (call me a neat freak but I scrub the entire thing down once a week) and my guys are excellent with the litterbox god forbid what I would be facing if they habitually poop on the wire shelf. I expected soo much more from a Marshall product.

I got this for my 2 ferrets and its very spacious. It was a bit tough to put together all by myself, but if I had help it would have been a piece of cake. But the one I got had wired platforms so this one looks a bit different.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lael I love this cage!
I bought three different large cages for my two baby ferrets, and they managed to completely dismantle and destroy the ramps and door hinges of the first two. But the they met their match in the Marshall Mansion. It's very large, sturdy, attractive and easy to clean, as cages go. The slide-out tray at the bottom makes cleaning easier, but it doesn't work for shredded bedding, the tray just isn't deep enough. I ended up using soft t-shirt material in the bottom instead, which is easy to throw in the washer and the fuzzies love to tunnel in it. The huge doors are escape-proof and so large I can fit my whole torso inside to clean the backside (and I'm no Barbie doll). I can also fit a hand vacuum inside it for in-between deep cleanings. The cage is so roomy that I have a hanging house, a hammock, an igloo, a 13x13 sleeping box, a huge litter box, 2 corner litter pans, a perpetual feeder, a ceramic food dish and 2 water bottles inside, plus numerous toys! I would recommend buying an extra shelf or two, and the black cage cover is wonderful for keeping out drafts and creating a dark, quiet sleeping environment.

This cage is great and big. My ferret loves it! The set up was a tad bit hard but the one problem i had was it covered in this orange dust like stuff which really grossed me out. It was also hard to get off. But beside that it was a great price and i love it!

I got a cage like this but it also had another level. Well my fuzzies love it but it is impossible to take apart and clean, the ramps always come off, and the shelves have to be in the same place, and the worst part is, if your buddies are up at night, you WILL NOT sleep. I mean my fuzzies don't mind that but mommy's not to happy with her babies cage.
