Not only is it flushable, but it really keeps the smell of the urine down. It is absorbant and does not have the cloud of dust when put into the litter box. Also there is NO strong chemical smell out of the bag.
Best litter we have ever bought. Worth evey penny.

No smell, absorbent, not dusty, my ferrets use it (although it isn't easy getting them to), and it is flush-able. Price is a bit high, but other than that what more could you ask for?

We just got this litter, and so far so good, but one of our fuzzies eats it. Is this normal or healthy? Also, they like to dig in it, and spill it out of the litterbox. Any advice?

We have been using this product for 5 years now, with our 4 furry ferrets! It has been easy to scoop, and no smells! Also, none of our ferrets have attempted to did in this litter. Ferret.com has been half the price of other local pet store. I would highly recommend this litter!

This litter kills odor better than any we tried, soaks the urine, flushes, and it's marshals!! Unfortunately it is costly and doesn't come in a BIGGER bag or BULK sale!!! Most ferret owners get multiple ferrets and let's face it the need litter changed FREQUENTLY!!! Plz bulk ur great product.

We use this litter with our fuzzy and our kittie. Both love it, and we have tried other (cheaper types of pellet litter) without success. But...I dont recommend flushing it down the toilet. We had to pay a plumber $200 to snake our main line to unclog the "green paper jam".

This litter is not only amazing but it is also flushable which makes it so much easier and saves on trash instead of throwing it in a bag I can flush it down. Not to meantion that it holds off the odors. I have 2 ferrets and i go through a 50 pound bag in about three weeks. You get your moneys worth out of this litter so convientant and easier just take the litter pan to the bathroom and flush the litter down. :) :)

Recycled paper is the only type of litter you are supposed to use with ferrets. Any other litter will create respiratory problems. This one works well.

We have had ferrets for almost 20 years now. We love this litter. It is more expensive, but if you want the best that does not smell, this is it!

someone said that the litter breaks up when wet...well its suppose to do that. Whenever it breaks up its absorbing the urine. its a very good litter and i would highly reccomend.

When I direst got my ferrets I didn't know what kind of litter to give them. I tried this litter and it is the best litter ever! It is a little pricey but if you want good litter this is right for you.
p.s. Freddy and Rocky ( the ferrets) love the free toy!

This is by far the best ferret litter I have tried. I have 6 ferrets and it's really good at absorbing odors and holding in urine. Like I said I have 6 ferrets and people coming over for the first time tell me that it doesn't smell like I have 6 ferrets. In fact they tell me they hardly smell anything at all!!

I just realized how easy this litter is to clean up, I just pull the little box out of the cage and then flush it down the toilet. SUPER EASY!

Litter has funny smells in it. A lot of dust particles fly into the air when pouring into a bucket. I have found large pieces of wood in it. I have bought the smaller bags and figured it would be the same as the 50 pound bag, but I found them to be different- not only that the toy is missing in the 50 pound bag, but differences in quality.
If you plan on storing it, keep it in the box it was delivered with otherwise you will have a funny smell in wherever you store it in. I wonder what they use in the litter to give it that smell...
Litter is good overall, but it does break up once it gets wet.

I have 3 ferrets now and this litter works great. They have four litter boxes in their large cage, and I never smell a thing. I don't think the litter has a bad or weird smell either. I've tried a few different brands of ferret litter but nothing compared to this Marshall litter for odor control and absorption. My ferrets seem to like this litter and don't have a problem stepping on it or anything.

My two boys don't care for this litter. They are vary fussy so I am sticking to yesterdays news found at my local grocery store. They prefer the recycled newspaper than anything else. We got them from a rescue shelter and that is what they used there so we will stay with what works best for them. As for smell I always put some arm and hammer for pets in the bottom of my litter boxes and that helps with the smell.

This is absolutely the best ferret litter on the market. It's easy to dispense, clean up, and absorbs moisture and odors better than any other litter brands -- and I've tried them all. This is the litter you want to use for your ferret family -- so safe and effective.

The box is really heavy, but if you have someplace to store it, it's worth getting the big bag. :) The only qualm I have with this litter is that one of my three ferrets digs in it from time to time, and seems to inhale the little particles it.. he gets all wheezy and sad. But it doesn't seem to hurt him.

We own 2 ferrets and learned a lot about them online. Regular clay cat litter is not good for them because of respitory infections, so we switched. This is the best litter for them! Biodegradable, and incredibly absorbant. The smell does take some getting used to, but it is well worth it.

This is one of the best litters out on the market. I have try many to include cat litter and yesterdays' news and this is the best. There is no smell (unless you go more than 4 days) no mess and it's easy to clean up.

I have 2 ferrets and I have tried other products out there and none stand up to this one. The overall performance of the litter is great. My 1 ferret loves to play in it after it has been changed. I would for sure recommend this litter to any one that has ferrets, it's worth it.

this quality is great!! because the litte it's self smells so bad that it blocks out the smell of poop and yurine. but my ferrets sometimes play in it and get them all dirty. but it works for absorbing.

My 2 carpet sharks don't like stepping on this litter. They try to stand on the edge of the box to avoid standing on the litter. The litter also has a bad smell straight out of the bag! After I use the rest of our current bag I'm going back to our old litter.

Our ferrets love this stuff. It absorbs so much, and cuts the smell at least by half. I will never change the bedding again. With 4 ferrets, this does what it's supposed to. I highly recommend it, and you won't find a better price than here on ferret.com.

This litter Does cut own the smell of the ferret odors BUT the litter itself has a strong oder that is not the most pleasant. Our boys also liked playing in the litter. Super absorbant but as soon as the litter gets wet it falls apart making it sort of hard to scoop.

I have used Marshall Ferret litter for the 5 years I've had ferrets. We use 100 lbs per week.We use paper towels to clean out the poop & wet spots twice a day.We have tried other types of litter which are cheaper, but it is sooo much easier & faster with Marshalls.

It works great to remove odors, it cut the smell in half as soon as I replaced my regular litter with it. However, sometime my ferrets like playing in it more than anything.

This good litter but my ferret doesnt seem to like it really. He rather sleep on it & dig in it than use it in his litter box... But it is a great product only if he would think so. It might be the texture of it that he doesnt like on his feet or something...

This litter not only works great at odor control, but you can also flush it down the toilet. It takes 2 seconds to scoop out the corner and drop it in the toilet. No plastic bags, no smelly trash cans...its quick, clean and easy !!

I tried this product back when we first got our ferrets. It doesnt control smell at all, and the ferrets rarely used it, which meant lots of other clean up. Switched to Critter Litter and it made a huge difference both in smell and hit rate.

I think it is the best product on the market for ferret litter. It does not turn into dust, it is very absorbent, reduces odor it does not spill all other the place like some other light paper bedding or litter.
Highly recommended!!!

I didnt like this litter because it doesnt clump at all. You have to throw away the entire pan of litter instead of scooping the poop out. It says dust free...not true! When I pour it in the pan dust flys everywhere. The absorbancy is okay..if you can handle throwing away tons of litter and the dust. And one of my ferrets rarely used the litter pan when I used this litter.
