This bed is one of my ferret's favorites. It is great for the winter because it keeps him warm and cozy! The place where my little guys cage is gets lots of light sometimes so it's great for when he wants to take a nap during the day also. He hasn't bothered the velcroed-on bottom, he has yet to figure out that it detaches. It does become a little mis-shapen after you wash it but I'm always able to put it back in it's form afterwards. Overall I'd say this product is great!

The quality of the item was relatively poor. The igloo shipped to me was permanently indented in a couple of places, which I found annoying. The item also looks quite different from as pictured.
But my little girly rats obviously adore the thing, which is all that truly matters. To me the item was well worth the $15. I would buy it again.

My pets love it! But two improvement. Sew the velcro bottom on and sew the fill in the bottom in place. After a few washes and uses the velcro collects fur and everything else so it no long holds together. Also the fill will move to one side or another and bunch up. It's really hard to try to flatten it out again.

I bought this from a local pet store at $30.00 so the price here is great. I have one ferret, Belle, and she imediately loved the igloo and ripped out the bottom in the first ten minutes she was in teh cage but after she got used to the igloo in her cage she stopped pulling off the velcro bottom. I've put it through the wash once and the wool is all messed up now so I'm not too happy about that :( but Belle still loves to sleep in it (and chew on it, which I'm none to thrilled about either) but I guess if she loves it then I'm ok with it too.

My ferrets loved it, so much that one of them decided to eat it. After surgery, a ferrets digestive system can't handle foreien objects, he died. So it was a good product, but not for my ferrets.

The velcro bottom sucks -- it took seconds for my crew to rip it off and take it down to their litter area. Also, it doesn't have any clips to hold it in place, so the rest of it ended up getting "redecorated" all over the cage as well.

The velcro which attaches the bottom to the iglo doesn't stay put and only attaches in four small spots, save your money on this one.

I have four ferts ranging in age from 3 months to 4 years, and they all love the igloo. It is very easy to clean just throw it in the wash, the let it air dry. The price is great to, it cost $30 at the local pet store.

My ferrets love it...but the bottom is a foam pad covered with the fleece cover and velcroed to the inside of the "igloo". They tore the bottom out right away. Granted, they LOVE tipping it on its' side and playing in it...but the foam pad...I don't even put it in their cage.

Although the ferrets love this igloo, I'm less than thrilled. The very first washing it became "pilly" and the velcro doesnt stay together.
