I have two of these. One hunter green, which is a pretty medium/dark green, and one in purple, which is a not so pretty lilac color. They are easy to put on and adjust, and the leash is long enough for your ferret to run a couple feet ahead of you. My ferrets are able to escape, but it takes them awhile so I have plenty of time to catch them if they start to wiggle out!

the harness adjusts to fit,but if I stop walking the ferrets slip out of the harnees regurdless of how small I adjust it, I am going to try the vest type harness in the pet store

Seriously. Go for this harness. Its comfy, its easy to adjust, its slip proof ((once you correctly adjust it to your wriggly fuzzbutt)) its all around great.
I will only use this one because it is so adjustable for different sizes and how it doesnt irritate the little armpits of my fuzzies

This is the first harness that Yogi can't slip out of!! He went on his first walk outside today with it and he was so happy!! I want to be able to give him more freedom and exercise and this makes it so I can feel safe that he won't slip out while on a walk. Highly recommend!

My ferret can escape from every harness I have tried. Including this one. He backs out of them. I wish I could find one he could'nt escape from.

This harness was great! It fit easily and stayed on great. The plastic buckle broke though :( From pushing the closure together to put on and take off, the push buttons slid out of place and eventually didn't stay in. With the low price, though, I will definitely purchase another one and hope the clasp lasts longer.

The leash is fairly good, but the harness extends to a really large size.. Even at the smallest size it is loose on one of my ferrets. It would be nice if they had 2 or 3 size ranges rather than making one that seems to not only be meant for all size ferrets but larger animals as well.
It is well built though, with strong material the ferret won't chew through and the buckle clicks together/apart easily.

If you own a ferret, then you know they are excellent escape artists. This harness is the only one I can fit on all five of my ferrets. Granted, some don't like it and walk awkwardly, but they are getting used to it. Unfortunately, ferrets are ferrets so if you don't keep an eye on them, they can still get out of this. My guys figured out if they get under a tree, they can get a branch through the back and as it lifts up, they wiggle out. So you still have to be careful. Otherwise, this is wonderful and I suggest getting it. It can adjust to a lengthy amount, or go small enough for our 1 lb ferret. They have chewed on it and we have not seen it fray. Have had one harness for 3 years.
