I bought this harness a few weeks ago for my little ferret, Roo, due to it's good reviews for being escape proof. Unfortunately, that's not quite true. Within 20 minutes he figured out that all he needed to do was bite on the body loop clip and it would come off. Seeing as the clip is very easy to snap in and take out, it doesn't take much effort. So I've had to rig the clip with glue. I still recommend the product, because it fits him well, and it's a very good quality. I look forward to leash training him.

I have tried walking vests and my girl got out of them. This harness really can adjust well. Its well made, and has a really nice leash. Also comes in great colors. the blue is really nice.

I own 8 ferrets and all of them approve of this harness/leash combo. The harnesses adjust to fit all of them from my chubbiest boy to my most petite girl without letting them "slip out" and the leash is long enough to walk them comfortably. Once you fit them to it properly, they won't notice they're wearing them!

This is the ONLY harness I've gotten to stay on my ferret. She doesnt mind this one nearly as much as she hates the jacket type. She'll actually walk with this one on. Its very easy to put on and take off.

i do not have a ferret.... yet but when i do i will be getting this i have always loved the strap leashes instead of jackets cause jackets can choke ur fuzzie and they are nonadjustable so if they do not fit they will never!

My ferret loves this leash and it can not ecape from it. It fits perfectly and it is not to big nor to small. I suggest you buy this item.

I bought this for my first ferret who weighed atleast 2lbs and he still managed to get out, even when it was snug on him. My other ferret is a 9 month old girl and even with it adjusted all the way she can still get out of it real easily.. Plus with it having to be pulled tight the whole way it doesn't fit her right around the legs which makes it hard for her to walk.

My ferrets have gone through three of these so far. The quick snap buckles break WAY to easily.

I have found that it takes some time to get these adjusted so that your ferret cannot escape. I use this for my male Rosco who is 6mos old and 3lbs and I spent about 2 weeks having him wear it and get accustomed to it before taking him outside. I use a different type harness for my little girl Molly because she is only 1lb and so tiny that this wouldn't fit her properly. When I do take my kids outside I tie their leashes together and turn them loose out at the soccer field close to where I live and they have a ball, not once have I had a problem with this harness, just take the time to get it adjusted for them as well as letting them get accustom to wearing it.

My ferret doesn't seem to mind having this harness on. She has tried other harnesses that don't quite fit her very well, but this one was adjustable enough that she hasn't attempted to get out of it yet.

With the harnesses and leads I've tried, my boy has either had trouble moving his limbs to their full extent or just flat out disliked them. First time I tried on the harness, he loved it. So far, there've been no attempts for him to wiggle out of it, and his pulling at the lead hasn't loosened the straps. He is small for a ferret, but it's a good fit.

This fits my young ferret great. He just doesn't seem to like being drug around with the leash. He doesn't mind the harness on him though. It also seems very sturdy

I had one of the Marshall ferret collars for my ferret Izzy and she keep getting out of it so I bought this harness and put a bell on it. About ten minutes after I put it on her she came to me wanting to be picked up and she didn't have it on...still haven't found it.

Within 2 days of receiving this item the snaps broke. The worse part, my ferret got stuck in the harness around his belly and the buckle was broken so I couldn't get it off. Seemed like the design was going to work to prevent his escape, but needs better buckles.

Yes, this lease is too big for our little girls, but with a pair of scissors, they can easly be cut and adjusted. None of our three ferrets at first liked this lease, but now they realize when it comes out, it means they get to go have fun outside! Now, they all sit perfectly still as we put it on them. It is quick and easy and with practice I can operate it with one hand, which is quite a feat. I highly reccomend it over all other ferret leases.

I have a little girl she still doesn't quite fit in it. She weighs only 2 pounds but I'm not so sure she's going to grow much more since she's 10 months old now. Hopefully she will, as most of the collars and leads are entirely too large for her at their smallest adjustment. Luckily she has to work hard to get out of it, and so long as the lead's not on she doesn't mind it that much. The snaps are kind of difficult to get closed and open on a squirming ferret but they don't come open when she's wearing them.

H-Style harnesses are a must have for a ferret owner.
Velcro doesn't work and I wouldn't trust my fuzzies life in it.
Have a color for each ferret and you only have to adjust it once...

My ferret hated this harness, he gets out of it all the time, its difficult to get on the ferret and extremely difficult to adjust.

This is a decent harness, much better than many I have seen. However, the clasps are bulky plastic, and the straps are very wide and stiff uncomfortable for the fuzzies! They also only adjust so far, and smaller ferrets tend to slip out. Of my 9 babies, only 3 of the boys can wear this harness comfortably and without escaping.

The harness fits my big boy perfectly, hes only managed to get our of it two or three times. But, my little girl had it off in less than 30 seconds. They are just babies so maybe when they get a little bit bigger neither will be able to escape. Its nice that you get to choose the color.

This is a execellent product, when I bring them out my two ferrets get excited because they know its time to take a walk. They are easy to get off and on.
The harnesss look so cute on them blue is for Billy and red is for Jack.

I like that there is no velcro, they are made just like a dog halter, so they are strong. As long as you adjust is properly your ferret cannot excape. My ferret is pretty small, he's still a baby. But the halter adjusts way smaller than he is and it will grow with him because it will adjust out bigger than he should get. The snap buckle closures are a little tricky, they are strong and stiff,it's one of those things you'll get the hang of.

I have three ferrets and I love how easy these great harness/leash combos are to get on and off. They're very durable, and I wouldn't trust any other to hold my honory weasles!
