Couldnt be better !, 11/20/2011

Ariana from parma,ohio

I have 5 ferrets and they all had no problem wearing they didnt put up a fight and just pretened it wasnt there. my ferrets share a room with me so the bells are REALLY helpfull. it works great with a leash and does not slip off . the only problem i have had with this product is it does tend to fray a bit after a while. out of the 5 ferrets i have only 1 of their colors frayed and it wasnt to bad either. colors are much better than harnesses because i had harnesses for all 5 when they were young pups and they are adustable around the ferrets body but the strap from the top to the bottom is to small for full gorwn ferrets and its not ajustable. It pulls their legs up to their head and they cant walk right. The color is a great product i would highly recomend it to any ferret owners out there !

Wonderful, 7/22/2011

luciferDEW from International Falls, MN

This is a wonderful idea but you gotta still pay attention where your fuzzy goes. Even tho it jingles you have to be careful because ur fuzzy could get it caught on something and injure himself or herself. Lucifer didn't like it at first but he got use to it. I put it on him he dissappeared next thing you know i found him in the bathroom. it adjustes to fit your fuzzy so it doesn't slip out

Great for finding ferrets if they dont slip out of, 4/30/2011

Buddy from St. Louis, MO

Great to help finding hidden sleeping ferrets, although it's pretty easy for them to slip out of them. My older ferret would scratch it and it would become all fuzzy, but would actually hold better on him.

Collars, 6/10/2010

Ferrets North from Prince George, BC

Got this for my guy with spinal injuries (could not wear a harness) and it worked well. I used it to 'walk' him outside (though ferrets can slip collars easily so this is not recommended for healthy animals). I would like to see a safety release option (such as those found on cat collars that snap open the minute pressure is applied) for people wishing to use these to keep tabs on their ferrets indoors. Anyone who buys this should be aware that they are not escape proof and that leaving a collar 24/7 on a wiggly animal that crawls under things is not recommended.

Good product, 9/16/2008

Stacey from Chenango Bridge, NY

I use this for my little girl when she doesn't have her harness on and since its adjustable it fits her nicely. I love that it has the bell on it so that when she's getting into trouble she's easy to find!!

Doesn't fit all ferrets, 8/7/2008

Mellie from A Pirate Ship, Ca

My little one can easily slip this collar on and off, I have it tightened all of the way and she still slips out of it easily.

Great!, 7/9/2007

Cassie from Whitehall, PA

I bought two of these for the two ferrets I have and they are GREAT I was worried at first because I have had them for four years and they have been able to slip out of everything but not these! I love them. I will soon be ordering four more for the ferrets we are about to get!

BE CAREFUL!, 2/13/2007

Robin from New Jersey

I bought these for all 4 ferrets and was pleasantly surprised that they fit them all even our tiny, little girl. Its also nice that they come in assorted colors. HOWEVER, while at the vets for wellness visits for 2 of my ferrets they had an emergency. A ferret had gotten its collar caught while climbing under the kitchen sink cabinet. The collar caught on something and the ferret strangled itself and suffered some spinal injuries trying to free itself. The vet had to put that poor little ferret to sleep and she suggested that I switch to harnesses when my gang is freeroaming.

Love It!, 2/5/2007

Tricia from Elkhart

My ferret has this and we love it! At first she wasnt to happy about it, but after a few hours she forgot it was even there. It helps keep track of where she is. It does give her ring around the neck, but any collar will do that to any animal. It comes in handy when our little one has slipped out of our sight all we have to do is listen for the ringing sound.

miracle, 1/4/2007

Denise from Manahawkin, NJ

My ferret wears his all the time. He got out of the house one day, and the dinging of the bell is the only reason I was able to find him.

Only with supervision, 12/30/2006

Barb Carlson from Pittsburgh, PA

Do not put this collar on tight enough that they cant slip it off, as that would be much too tight. If you leave it on too long like that, it will wear the fur off. Also, they can strangle if they get caught on something. It is useful to keep track of there they are in the house as long as you realize they may take it off. Its best to keep track of your ferret at all times, as they are prone to getting into troublelifethreatening as well as the normal merely mischevious kind of trouble. NEVER leave a collar or harness on while in the cage as they can strangle if it gets caught on something.

Great idea, 8/3/2006

Jackie from Midland,PA

These things are great to help you find you furbaby when they are hiding or getting into mischief. They fit good but my 2 still manage to get them off even with them being adjusted properly. Those ferret "fingers"! You'd think they had posable thumbs!!
