These springs were a waste of money for me. Because they are a Marshall product, I thought they would work with my Marshall cage, but they don't. One wall of my cage has vertical bars, but the wall that is adjacent to it has horizontal bars. Needless to say, the spring simply slides down the vertical bars, so it serves no purpose at all. I would recommend being sure that you have a place to put them before buying them.

I have two ferrets brother and sister. A local pet store talked us into purchasing these to stop our two babies from relieving theirselves in corners other than in their litter pans. They would stand on them, play with them and they would push them up and down. We use bread zip ties to hook around the spring and the metal bar in their cage than they were unable to move them up and down oh though didnt stop them from relieving theirselves in the corners just made didnt corners for them to back into. My two little babies will be a yr in December and they are half potty trained just gotta make sure u clean their litter pans out daily because they dont like messes in there litter pans. The price is cheap enough for them just worthless for working to deterrent my two anyways

I recommend STRONGLY against using these...for their inteded purpose, anyway. These didn't get my ferret to stop pooping in the corners at all-in fact, I think they made it more fun. Plus, she could push them down with her paws. However, they worked for holding objects down in the corners so they wouldn't be corners anymore and with our partiular cage for making the doors harder to open from the inside.

These things did not work at all, to deter my fuzzies from pooping in the corners of their cage. They did work GREAT at holding the water bottles in place though. My guys always found a way to knock the water bottle hooks off, not anymore.
