I bought this item for my ferret a few years ago. I have liked the product, and Emily my ferret really likes going with me places. The only thing is, as people have stated, ferrets can escape it easily. I fixed this by attaching a small ring to the inside bottom, and buying a ferret harness to attach to it.

My ferrets hated this thing. Because it was so soft, there was no shape, and it would collapse inward on my ferrets, and they would go crazy trying to get out of it. If it stayed structured then it might not be so bad.

Velco=an escaping ferret. If you dont mind forcing them back into the carrier all the time, its great. Otherwise, find something with a zipper [or two Baby can move zippers if I dont twistytie them together].

I bought this because I thought it was a cute little carrier. I recently got a kit Charlie and had to take him for his rabies vaccination. He figured out in no time that it was just velcro that closed it and he could push it open with his nose. Be careful if you use this to go to the vet, Charlie almost got snatched up by a golden retriever he had his head stuck out of the bag and the dog came at him, the owner of the dog looked at me like *I* was crazy

The two problems with this carry sack are the velcro closures ferrets just nose their way between the spots where the velcro is and the fact that it only has mesh in the front. The ferret likes to be able to look up to see you, its useful to see what your ferret is doing in there, and there isnt as much cross ventilation with only front mesh. Unless your ferret is welltrained, youll have trouble keeping them inside. Again, with any of these carriers, you need to give them potty breaks and offer foodwater about once an hour.
