With the harnesses and leads I've tried, my boy has either had trouble moving his limbs to their full extent or just flat out disliked them. First time I tried on the harness, he loved it. So far, there've been no attempts for him to wiggle out of it, and his pulling at the lead hasn't loosened the straps. He is small for a ferret, but it's a good fit.

This fits my young ferret great. He just doesn't seem to like being drug around with the leash. He doesn't mind the harness on him though. It also seems very sturdy

I had one of the Marshall ferret collars for my ferret Izzy and she keep getting out of it so I bought this harness and put a bell on it. About ten minutes after I put it on her she came to me wanting to be picked up and she didn't have it on...still haven't found it.

Within 2 days of receiving this item the snaps broke. The worse part, my ferret got stuck in the harness around his belly and the buckle was broken so I couldn't get it off. Seemed like the design was going to work to prevent his escape, but needs better buckles.

I have a little girl she still doesn't quite fit in it. She weighs only 2 pounds but I'm not so sure she's going to grow much more since she's 10 months old now. Hopefully she will, as most of the collars and leads are entirely too large for her at their smallest adjustment. Luckily she has to work hard to get out of it, and so long as the lead's not on she doesn't mind it that much. The snaps are kind of difficult to get closed and open on a squirming ferret but they don't come open when she's wearing them.
