Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Pleased! I purchased this cage, along with quite a few other things to complete the entire home for my 4 ferrets, upgrading from the Marshall Penthouse. After reading reviews on this site as well as others, I was rather worried of the condition in which my cage would arrive. I received my cage, and the remaining components, in a very timely manner, and was very pleased to receive it in the condition it was in. The only thing that was damaged with the cage were the 2 large plastic shelves. They are layered between other metal pieces of the cage, and they are the exact dimensions of the box, so I was not surprised to find that the edges of the shelves had been broken, though not to a point where they were rendered useless. The cage was fairly simple to assemble, though I did have help from a friend. As other reviews have mentioned, you may do well to have a rubber mallet handy when it comes to fully seating the sections together. The ramp and shelf covers are a good fit and are very well made. They are a "sock", so the shelves and ramps actually slide into them, and close at one end with Velcro. My kids have been in this cage for a month now, and I have seen no damage to any portion of the cage, and a fully expected the shelf and ram covers to have been torn to shreds at this point. As for the damaged shelves, I notified PetSupplies via customer support email. The next day I had a response telling me that they were going to contact the manufacturer and have some replacements sent out, and that they would supply me with a tracking number. After 3 weeks, I was becoming concerned as to whether or not I was going to see any replacements, as I had not had any further contact from PetSupplies. 1 day later, I received 2 replacement shelves at work where I had the cage shipped, so all is right in the universe again. There is more that enough room in this cage for the 4 ferrets, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed with the purchase of this cage, or the customer service of PetSupplies.com April 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Chi-Town Ferrets These pan covers make life SO MUCH EASIER. All you have to do is, take the pan liner off and replace it with another clean one. 2 minutes and you're cage shelf is clean and your ferrets are happy they have a soft place to run on. It also helps in the winter months, when your house can get cold, to keep the shelf warmer and your ferrets more energetic. For those afraid that it will trap the ferret musk, it actually does a pretty good job of doing the opposite. They're also washer/dryer safe making cleaning again that much easier. I highly recomend these pan covers to anyone with the ferret nation cages. November 17, 2011
