Rated 4 out of 5 by Anthony Terrible assembly process, but has its pluses
I probably got a bad one because I had a terrible time putting it together. Nothing seemed to fit, pieces were bent, too large, not flush with other parts...it just seemed like a poor manufacturing job. All in all it took me about 3 hours to put it together.
I actually had to break out my rotary tool and grind down pegs just enough so they would actually fit(believe me, this cage needed it...I put my entire 160lb frame on top of one of the sides and it still wouldn't go in). On several occasions I had to use a hammer to bend pieces into shape as well as force pieces into place. I had to remove a piece of metal lodged inside a hole preventing a peg from going in. The doors do not close neatly, you have to squeeze the handles then push it in until it clicks. And to top it all off...the top piece just sort of sits there. I have a feeling an adventurous fuzzy would have no problem pushing up a corner and falling out. I'll have to get zip ties for it.
However, once it was all put together it really is a sight to behold. It looks nice, it's roomy and is very easy to access. It's like Ikea furniture, the assembly sucks and you probably don't want to move it much afterwards. Your fuzzies will love it though, and that'll make it all worthwhile.
