My older ferret uses it, she's the smarter one. She uses it to get out and to crawl back in when she decides it time to go back to sleep. The 5 month old boy we got isn't the smartest little guy. He knows it's there, and starts to use it, but he doesn't quite know how to use his legs properly yet I think because half the time he stumbles off halfway down...great price though and it hangs up nicely on the side of the cage when we're not using it.

it lets our ferrets go into their cage whenever they want.This means there is less poop around the house

We bought this ramp for our fuzzies a while back and they absolutely love it. Our 8 ferrets are often out for over 4 hours a day and this ramp gives them easy access to enter and exit the cage at their leisure without them having to struggle to get in or out. The only improvement I think this product would benefit from is making it a little wider...Some of our big boys occasionally "spill" over the side of it when coming down the ramp, luckily, it's not a far fall! ;)

Before I got this, I had a little staircase shelf of varying sized shoeboxes for my ferret to get in and out. While this could be a little wider (she sometimes tumbles off if she's excited), it's pretty good for what it is. I will say, there were two little rubber caps on the part of the wires that hook over the edge of the cage -- take them off! They serve no real purpose (the part that touches the floor is smooth curved metal, no sharp edges), and it's better than them falling off and being ingested.

its like my lil girl rather avoid the ramp and find a different way back into her cage ha. she uses it to get out, but to get back in its like she forgets its there and pulls her self up with out it.

It works good for its purpose. The kids crawl up and down it with no problems.

It could be longer and therefore less steep.I had to cover it with some cloth so the fuzzies would not get caught in it.

I just bought ANOTHER 3 Story Ferret Nation and 2 more ramps. I am going to connect the 3 story FN together and also going to connect the 2 ramps together like I did before so I'm going to have a HUGE 3 Story Ferret Nation connected together with each cage having 2 ramps connected together so the ferrets and run in and out of the huge mansion! I bought this so my ferret wouldn't have to jump in/out of his ferret nation cage when he's finished running around in my room like a tornado. This ramp is longer then the interior ramps that come with the cages. Same metal and all with 2 tiny rubber slip guards where you hook it to the cage. Easy to climb too although it's a little steep. I bought 2 and 1 is good enough.

I bought 2 of these and tied them together to make it wider. Although it could be longer so it won't be so steep, my ferrets love it and now go up and down it to get in and out of the cage a heck of a lot more than the handmade ramp I had. Definately a PLUS! I recommend 2 tied together. TJ
