The active ingredients in De Flea products work together to soften the waxy exoskeleton of fleas. Ingredients:
Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate - used as a common food additive, but is more widely used in pharmaceutical products as a laxative. This ingredient is responsible for softening the shell of the fleas.
Undecylenic Acid- is also a common pharmaceutical product that is used in anti-fungals. It is a derivative from the castor bean. This ingredient is responsible for saturating the fleas' internal organs, to kill the fleas.
Other Ingredients- filtered water.
