Rated 4 out of 5 by The good and the bad I have ALWAYS been a fan of A&E cages. I used to work at a pet store for many years,and put them together a lot (the bird ones anyway, so when I got a ferret and found that they made ferret cages I was super excited. A&E cages are good quality and totally worth the extra money you will spend on them. They are hardy cages, that are also escape proof (in my opinion). That being said keep in mind you will have to put this cage together yourself, and there are little to NO instructions that come with it. So unless you are handy or have experience putting cages together, I would suggest you think your decision over well. It also does have lots of room, enough to comfortably fit 2 maybe 3 ferrets. I love the shelf on the bottom to store my ferrets things, and I love the wheels. The cage actually comes with the stand (which has the wheels), so you can choose to take the cage off the stand as well. The only other thing I can warn people is that this cage will not accommodate a large ferret litter box. It has room for one, but it will NOT fit through the doors to put it in or take it out. otherwise it is a wonderful cage. October 10, 2012
